Hybrid-Electric Catamaran SEAWOLF X Unveiled by Rossinavi

Introducing SEAWOLF X, Rossinavi's groundbreaking 43m hybrid-electric catamaran, equipped with advanced AI, sustainable energy solutions, and luxurious living spaces.

Following its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, Italian builder Rossinavi has revealed additional details about SEAWOLF X, a 43m (141ft) hybrid-electric catamaran.

This innovative multihull yacht features an advanced hybrid propulsion system, incorporating batteries, electric engines, solar panels, and diesel generators. The yacht also utilizes Rossinavi AI, an artificial intelligence system, to enhance performance and efficiency.

With an exterior by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, yacht SEAWOLF X boasts an enclosed beach club at the stern which can be accessed via a custom-built transformer. This space includes a pool and sauna, offering a luxurious environment for sunbathing, swimming, or simply enjoying the sea breeze. The design cleverly connects the beach club with the surrounding areas, creating an ideal spot for relaxation.

On the main deck, the cockpit centers around a stunning pool, designed for social interaction. It features two adjacent living areas and a large dining table, perfect for alfresco dining and gatherings.

The 130-square-meter sundeck is designed for lounging, featuring a sunbathing zone, shaded seating, a large bar, and a screen for onboard infotainment integrated with Rossinavi AI. It also includes 202 custom solar panels covering 156 square meters.

The input that we received from the owner was to realize a boat that is the most ecologically possible. We have full hybrid propulsion, with batteries and solar panels, [and] the system is capable [of producing] around 35kW more or less.

The new yacht SEAWOLF X offers three performance modes: full electric for one-day trips, 90% electric for multi-day trips, and 80% electric for transatlantic journeys. When moored, its Hibernation Mode minimizes energy consumption, allowing the catamaran to supply power to a private property or quay. The multihull yacht is equipped with two diesel generators for rapid battery recharging, and it can be fully charged from shore power in just five hours. Furthermore, Rossinavi AI monitors and optimizes operations, ensuring the battery pack remains within the optimal range, to extend battery life.

The yacht's two hulls are connected by a sophisticated structural network, ensuring smooth navigation, and a sleek profile for exceptional performance. At MYS 2024, SEAWOLF X's Captain, Sean Rysenbury, emphasized the advantages of SEAWOLF X over traditional monohulls, particularly in terms of space and stability.

The main aspect that we get from the operational side is the space. Its deck space is much more similar to a 70-meter. Besides this, people can enjoy the aft deck, the sun deck, and the bow in great comfort. The volume is incredible — 499 GT for a 43-meter. It's enormous.

The main salon, spanning 80 square meters, offers ample space for relaxation and entertainment, divided into a salon and dining area with panoramic sea views. The 70-square-meter owner's cabin on the main deck includes a skylight, walk-in closet, private gym, and access to a covered mooring area that transforms into a private terrace with separate crew access.

SEAWOLF X provided us with the opportunity to create something truly different for the yacht world — a catamaran that is elegantly designed but grounded in sustainability. We were inspired by Rossinavi’s commitment to conscious design, which guided us to lean into natural materials and thoughtful details.
