Watch: Rossinavi’s Seawolf X Video Presents the Future of Sustainable Yachting

Rossinavi has unveiled a new video exhibiting their groundbreaking 43m hybrid-electric catamaran M/Y Seawolf X.

Originally introduced as the 'Sea Cat' concept during Art Basel in 2021, the Rossinavi catamaran represents a significant leap in sustainable yachting.

The yacht made its official debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2024, where attendees including members of YachtBuyer had the exclusive opportunity to explore its state-of-the-art features firsthand. Seawolf X is now navigating the Caribbean Sea, exemplifying a future where luxury and environmental responsibility coexist.

Design and Sustainability

Seawolf X's exterior, crafted by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, showcases a sleek, low-profile silhouette reminiscent of a sports car. This design not only enhances aesthetic appeal but also integrates functional elements such as solar panels and lightweight materials to improve energy efficiency. The yacht offers three distinct outdoor living areas:

  • Cockpit - Centered around a pool, ideal for social gatherings.
  • Sundeck - Equipped with ample sunbathing and lounging spaces
  • Bow Area - Features a concealed pool and a convertible home theater for unique entertainment experiences.

The interior, designed by New York-based firm Meyer Davis, draws inspiration from natural elements like the sun, sea, and sand. The decor emphasizes natural materials and thoughtful details, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.

The layout accommodates up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a master suite, two double cabins, and two cabins that can function as twins or doubles.

Performance and Technological Innovations

Seawolf X is equipped with a hybrid-electric propulsion system that adapts to different travel scenarios. For one-day trips, it can cruise entirely in full-electric mode. On multi-day journeys, it operates on electric power for 90% of the time, while on transatlantic voyages, it maintains electric mode for 80% of the crossing.

The yacht features an onboard artificial intelligence system, Rossinavi AI, which continuously analyzes operations to predict guest needs and advise the crew on eco-friendly practices, promoting conscious cruising. Additional technical specifications include a beam of 13.75 meters, a draft of 1.85 meters, and a gross tonnage under 500 GT. Seawolf X achieves a top speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots, with an impressive range of 5,400 nautical miles at 8 knots.

Charter Availability

For those interested in experiencing Seawolf X firsthand, the yacht is available for charter. Summer rates start at €380,000 per week, while winter charters begin at $400,000 per week, excluding expenses.
