Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.3m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,642 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in April 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of High Power III is defined by its clipper bow, which enhances both its aesthetic appeal and functionality. The yacht's deck is crafted from teak, offering durability and a classic maritime look. The hull is painted a dark blue, providing a striking contrast to the white superstructure. The boot top is also white, maintaining a consistent and clean appearance above the waterline. Below the waterline, the yacht is painted black, ensuring a sleek and cohesive look.
Forward of the upper deck, a cracked-glass bar and two raised seating carousels provide additional seating options. The top deck features a central oblong infinity pool that can be transformed into a bubbling cauldron. This area can also serve as a party deck, with an elevated helideck that doubles as a dance floor. An aft deck with custom-designed double sun beds is available for relaxation.
Interior Design
The interior design of High Power III reflects a calm, clean, and intelligent execution by Salvagni. Upon entering from the starboard side main entrance, guests are greeted by an inner sanctum featuring a limestone staircase with stainless and bronze inlay, spiraling through all five decks around a circular glass lift.
Each deck has its own distinct personality. The main deck diverges from the typical three-compartment saloon layout, offering a central cathedral-style ceiling in teak with rounded curves and sea urchin-inspired lights. A bar extends along one wall, and architectural doors sculpted in alpaca lead to a dining area with an alpaca table that seats 12. The saloon features wide teak planked floors covered with silk carpets, floor-to-ceiling windows aft, and a cluster of chairs and sofas arranged around an oversized low table. Background music from a Steinway piano enhances the setting.
The owner's apartment, located forward on the main deck, features an unconventional layout with a beautifully appointed office/private sitting room, a bedroom divided into a reading area, central sleeping area, and television area. The spa area includes a light marble bath, a large shower area, floor-to-ceiling windows, and private dressing rooms with intricate detailing.
The bridge, located one deck up, offers good visibility through large windows and access to wide deck areas and curved alcoves housing the bridge wing docking systems. The bridge also includes a dedicated radio and chart room.
Adjacent to the captain's quarters is a sitting room with a fireplace and a 103-inch Panasonic television screen, designed as a private cinema with a large day bed. This cleverly designed space accommodates the engine extractors without creating a pinched look.
The upper deck is dedicated to luxury spa living, featuring a well-equipped gym, a massage room, a beauty room and hair salon, a sauna, and a Turkish bath.
Accommodation
High Power III offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in six cabins. The owner's suite is located forward on the main deck and is distinguished by its unconventional layout. Divided into three sections, the bedroom includes a reading area, a central sleeping area, and a television area, providing a versatile and relaxing environment.
The en suite bathroom features a light marble spa area with a solid white marble bath as the central feature, complemented by a large shower area and floor-to-ceiling windows. Additionally, private dressing rooms with intricate detailing are situated on either side. A beautifully appointed space offers privacy and can be used as an office or a private sitting room.
Guest accommodations are located on the lower deck, consisting of four identically decorated double and twin cabins. Each cabin comes with en suite shower facilities and unique touches that add character and comfort. A slightly larger VIP cabin is positioned on the bridge deck, providing an elevated level of comfort and privacy for distinguished guests.
She is also capable of carrying up to 18 crew. The crew area is situated forward of the guest cabins on the lower deck, featuring a mess, crew galley, and cabins designed to ensure the crew operates efficiently and comfortably. Additionally, a large dedicated laundry is located on the tank deck forward.
