Multihull specialist Sunreef Yachts has delivered its largest motor yacht to date, the 28.6m (94ft) catamaran SHIMALI.
With its distinctive dark grey hull contrasting with a rose gold superstructure SHIMALI is designed entirely in-house and is the first model of the Polish yard’s 100 Sunreef Power range.
Notable features include a shaded social area with an alfresco dining area and bar on the main deck aft, a large flybridge with a spa pool and outdoor cinema setup and a gym with ocean views. SHIMALI’s generous 13.5m (44ft) beam means it boasts large living areas.
The interiors are said to reflect the classic taste of the Owner, with use of oak veneers, brass, rose quartz and custom-built cabinetry, with the styling described as ‘homelike’.
Accommodation is provided for ten guests across five cabins, with the Owner’s cabin and the VIP cabin in the port hull, and the three remaining cabins found in the starboard hull.
Elsewhere, a large hydraulic swim platform is found aft alongside the tender garage which is large enough to hold two jet skis, a refueling station and plenty of water toys. SHIMALI is powered by twin 1300HP engines for a transatlantic range.
The Polish-based yard has become somewhat of a pioneer in the design and build of large, luxurious catamarans and at the start of this year announced a second model from the 100 Sunreef Power range was under construction.
In fact, the yard has a busy couple of years ahead, according to YachtBuyer Intelligence it has almost 20 vessels in its order book for 2022 and 2023. The most notable of these is what will become both a flagship model for the yard and the biggest yacht built in Poland, a 49m (161ft) Sunreef Power.
