Technohull, renowned for its high-performance boats, has significantly expanded its production facility in Lavrio, Greece.
The facility’s total area has expanded by 20 acres, now totaling 70 acres, and covered manufacturing space has increased from 12,000 square meters to over 25,000 square meters. Technohull's CEO, Gerasimos Petratos, explained that the expansion was necessitated by growing production demands and the undertaking of new, challenging projects.
Since its inception in 2021, the facility now features over 25,000 square meters of covered production space. The expansion incorporates new infrastructure, including a building specifically for GRP production, areas for CNC machining, carpentry, and decking, as well as multiple automotive-style painting booths.
The facility is equipped with advanced technology, such as a 20-meter-long 5-axis CNC unit, spray booths, and post-curing ovens, providing comprehensive support for every stage of boat production, from design to final fitting.
The company has seen significant growth over the past two years, with a 55% increase in production in 2024 compared to 2022. The workforce has also grown from 120 to over 220 employees, and turnover has risen by approximately €10 million annually.
