Crafted by the Italian shipyard, Wider Yachts, the WiderCat 92 is set to make its grand debut at the Venice Boat Show, scheduled from May 29th to June 2nd, 2024, before making its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
Developed in collaboration with Luca Dini Design and Centro Stile Wider, the WiderCat 92 is a 28m (92ft) fiberglass yacht, the forerunner of a new series of catamarans by the Marche shipyard. The yacht is a clever blend of exterior and interior spaces, marrying aesthetic appeal with functional design and state-of-the-art technology.
The WiderCat 92 boasts two VIP cabins, a double guest cabin, and an expansive owner's suite on the main deck that takes up almost half of the total space available. The yacht is distinguished by its serial hybrid propulsion system, offering sustainable propulsion when cruising at sea.
One of the most captivating features of the WiderCat 92, however, is its tender garage, which transforms into a spacious aft beach, alongside folding bulkheads that enhance the Beach Club area.
The unveiling of the WiderCat 92 is accompanied by a partnership with Applied and their Future Marine software suite, a cutting-edge maritime navigation system. This collaboration highlights the importance of digitalization in the yachting sector, with Applied developing an innovative cockpit for Wider, integrating real-time 3D visualizations for monitoring and controlling onboard systems.
The WiderCat 92 is a testament to Wider's pioneering vision and construction expertise. Today, as in the past, Wider approaches the yachting market with ambition and the desire to continuously push the boundaries of technological innovation."
