On Deck
The yacht has a focus on outdoor living space with a massive area at the back, complete with sun pads, a dining area, and open sides, ideal for warm climates.
Upon exploring the decks, Nick finds them spacious and safe, with high sides and a seat right at the front. The yacht also has an amazing upper terrace with a great view and solar panels across its roof. Above here, there is an outside aft dining area.
Interior
Venturing inside the yacht, he marvels at the split-level layout with stairs leading both up and down. The yacht has a toilet compartment on the starboard side, a day space, and a roof made entirely of solar panels, which he finds impressive as it powers most of the boat's electronics. The galley in the corner, the minimalist helm with a large wheel and glass bridge are all points of interest.
Nick is left impressed by the accommodation on the lower deck, especially the VIP guest cabin which he initially mistakes for the master cabin due to its great size and ensuite. He also appreciates the two other guest cabins and their ensuites, all beautifully finished with wood and big windows. The actual master cabin has dramatic freestanding furniture, twin sinks, and rainfall shower.
Crew Accommodation
The crew area is accessed via a stairway right next to the helm. There is a cabin with bunk beds, storage and ensuite wet room.
Performance
The Sherpa 80 XL is powered by a pair of Volvo IPS-1350 engines, which allow it to cruise at lower speeds with a significant range.
