The yacht is designed for sunny weather and is equipped with a sun pad, a garage, and a lifting platform. There are two options for the garage: it can be fitted to accommodate a Williams, or it can be used as a toy box for storing things like folding bikes and kayaks. He appreciates the increased size of the table on this model, which allows for more comfortable seating around it.

The Princess V50 Open features a solid sliding roof, which is more sophisticated and offers a good opening. He also likes the drop window next to the helm, which enhances the open feel of the boat. The one-piece windscreen is a significant improvement from the previous model's two-piece design.

The lower deck of the yacht is where the cabin is located. The owner of this particular model has chosen a very light wood, Alba Oak, which Nick finds unusual but appreciates for its open and beach house vibe. He also notes the practicality of the storage spaces, such as the crockery storage and the cutlery drawers.

The yacht can be configured to include a third cabin with permanent sleeping arrangements, but many choose to have a dinette instead. Highlighted are the day heads, the guest cabin, and the owner's cabin,  the luxury features of which are appreciated such as the panelling and glass splashback in the en-suite bathrooms.

Nick is impressed with the yacht's engine room, which houses a pair of Volvo Penta D6 IPS-650 engines, each with 480 horsepower. He notes that these engines would allow the boat to reach about 30 knots.

Nick appreciates the new Princess V50 Open for its sophisticated design, practical features, and powerful engines. He believes it's a great boat for families and is very manageable for an owner-operator.
