Interior

Nick particularly liked this yacht because he believed it was manageable by a couple of competent owners without the need for a crew. The interior is spacious and well-finished, of note being the large windows that provided a great view. He was impressed by the large, retractable TV and surround sound system, offering a full theatre experience.

Nick admired the wine cooler in one of the yacht's storage areas and appreciated how everything was conveniently located and easily accessible. The dining area, which had a table that could be moved along tracks for more space during meals, was well liked. The full-height fridge freezer, the cooking area, and the ample storage for cutlery and other items were highlighted in the galley.

A feature that Nick particularly liked was the snug area, a few steps up from the main living area, where people could relax away from the main party or sit and chat with the person at the helm. He noted the helm's side access door, which allows quick and easy access to the side deck.

He then proceeded to tour the lower deck and guest accommodations, pointing out the distribution panel for all the ship's electrics on the way and showing the VIP guest cabin, which was spacious with plenty of storage and a nice ensuite. Showcased were the other two guest cabins, each with its ensuite, and a day head accessible from the passage.

Particularly impressive was the master cabin, which he described as stunning and spacious. The master cabin had plenty of storage, a big dressing table, and a luxurious ensuite with twin sinks, illuminated mirrors, and a large rainfall shower.

On Deck

He appreciated the large bathing platform and lounges at the back of the yacht, imagining the enjoyment of being in the Mediterranean.  Nick admired another helm station, which he deemed useful for stern-to berthing, and the wide, easy-to-walk side decks. The forward seating area and the sunken sunbathing area were highlighted. He also pointed out the practical storage areas for things like fenders and ropes.

Up to the flybridge, there is a large area that could be used for sun loungers and a dining table for eating outside. There is a hardtop that could be rolled back for more sun and the bar with a barbecue, fridge, and ice maker.

Crew Accommodation

Nick then took viewers to the crew cabin, which he praised for its guest cabin quality finish, standing headroom, and ensuite with a separate shower stall. He suggested that this could be used as a fifth cabin if needed.

Performance

The engine room was described as magnificent, beautifully lit, and configured with full standing headroom. He pointed out the twin MAN V12 engines, each with 1,800 horsepower, which could propel the yacht to speeds over 35 knots. He was impressed with the detailed layout of the plumbing and air conditioning units, all of which were clearly labeled.

In Summary

Nick was thoroughly impressed with the Princess Y75, appreciating its design, attention to detail, and the consideration for both luxury and practicality.
