On Deck

Despite its age, Nick is pleasantly surprised by its modern appearance, particularly noting the smart dark blue hull. He appreciates the new canopy that can transform the cockpit area into an indoor space, as well as the reupholstered interior that replaces the original fluted white upholstery with a more contemporary design.

Nick is particularly impressed by the layout of the yacht, remarking on the practical use of space. He highlights the large sun pad that can comfortably accommodate four people, the ice maker, the wet bar, and the cool box. He also notes the double helm seat that allows for three people to sit at the front, complimenting the curved stainless steel windscreen that is typical of Sunseeker.

Interior

The yacht has race-style gear and throttle controls, along with a bow thruster. The original walnut finish has been updated with a carbon fiber look, and new Garmin screen and JL Audio hi-fi controls have been added.

Nick also compliments the wrap finish across the galley area, which he says gives a very contemporary look. All electric cooking, a fridge, and plenty of storage space are other features he finds appealing. He also appreciates the seating area across the galley, noting that when not in use the galley looks more like a sideboard, lending to the overall aesthetic of the space.

The master cabin, with its good size, retrofitted blinds, and plenty of storage, catch attention. Of particular note are the ensuite day heads with its separate shower area, and the fact that it can be accessed from the main saloon area.

The most interesting part of the yacht for Nick is the separate accommodation area at the back. This area has almost standing headroom, two single beds, and its own ensuite. Nick appreciates how this separate space offers privacy, making it an ideal sleeping area for guests.

Performance

The yacht has Detroit engines, each with 550 horsepower. These engines can propel the yacht to speeds up to 35-36 knots, making it an incredibly fast yacht for its size. The yacht also has a cruising range of about 200 miles at 20 knots.
