Laura Sessa Romboli has lent her talents to the interior while exterior design is from the sketch book of Tim Heywood; characterised by elegant, contemporary and bold shapes. The naval architecture of the line is the responsibility of the Amels in-house team.

A four-deck luxury vessel, each Amels 177 semi-custom design is composed of a sundeck, bridge deck, main deck and lower deck. The range encompasses a number of features unusual for a superyacht of its size, including a helipad and immense beach club complete with steam bath, large swim platform and bar.

The line presents virtually the same layout as the smaller 171 series, combining rare woods, natural fabrics and rich textures in well-designed geometries.

The design of the interior is available in three varying styles; contemporary, white, and classic. The first embraces a subtle modernity with hints of a casual island hideaway. Chosen woods include maple, bleached oak, sycamore or other light woods while darker colours are used for framing.

The white theme is somewhat reminiscent of a sailboat with its colour scheme of white, blue and dark wood; it combines fine woods, natural fabrics, soft colourings and comfortable furniture. The classic interior design uses mahogany, ash and sycamore to recreate the feeling of a seaside summer home.

The vessel has a cruising speed of 13 knots and can reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots. A range of 4,500 nautical miles is possible when cruising at 13 knots. The line is capable of accommodating 12 guests and 13 crew.

Amels Limited Edition yachts are created using the same methods, materials, standards, and technology as Amels custom yachts but offer extensive options for personalisation that ensure no sister ship is ever the same.
