Motor Boat Awards

The Motor Boat Awards celebrate boating innovation and exemplary customer service. Nine awards are handed out each year recognizing the best sports yachts, adventure yachts, superboats and more.

The Motor Boat Awards are run by the British magazine, Motor Boat & Yachting and sponsored by Sleipner (previously known as Side-Power).

Initially held to coincide with the London Boat Show in May, the awards were moved to be part of Boot Dusseldorf in January.

Round one of the judging process lays with the general public as they vote to select the nominees. Then a professional judging panel selects the finalists.

The winners are chosen based on several factors that include; design, abilities, characteristics and value. As well as the main eight award categories, there are also two additional awards which are the Customer Service Award and the Judges' Special Award.
