H2 Yacht Design

“You can never say no because anything, really, is possible with yachts.” Says Jonny Horsfield, founder of H2 Yacht Design. Led by this forward-thinking ethos and aptitude for creating innovative solutions, H2 is one of the leading Custom superyacht designers in the industry.

Based in Putney in southwest London, H2 Yacht Design is made up of a wide variety of designers including exterior stylists, interior architects, 3D visualizers and FF&E designers.

Building on a background in superyacht refits, the studio changed direction in 2005 when it won the contract for Turquoise’s 54m (177’) new build superyacht ‘Talisman C’.

Since then, the studio has been responsible for some of the most distinctive yachts on the seas today, and regularly designs both the interior and exterior of Custom build superyachts measuring in excess of 100m.

Examples of the studio’s work include the interiors of the 107m (351’) explorer yacht ANDROMEDA and the distinctive raked bow and curved aluminium superstructure which defines Lurssen’s 123m (403’) motor yacht ‘Al Lusail’. H2 has also created the interiors of the world’s largest yacht; the groundbreaking 182m (597’) explorer yacht ‘Rev Ocean’.

The design studio proudly proclaims it has no house style- instead, H2 uses its diverse set of skills to adapt to new briefs and create fully-tailored Custom superyachts with a clear goal in mind from the outset.
