The 41.1m open yacht AK Royalty was delivered to her owners in 2008 by American shipyard Palmer Johnson. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Nuvolari Lenard, while Palmer Johnson is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.4m beam and a 1.8m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 305 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the third yacht built on the PJ 135 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

AK Royalty is characterized by a custom paint that incorporates real 24kt gold, lending the vessel an unmistakable brilliance in sunlight. The aft deck is furnished with chairs in champagne gold steel and sofas with polished stainless frames, complementing the black marble countertops that add to the yacht's sophisticated appearance.

On the sundeck, functionality meets leisure with an open-air movie theatre, which can transform into an outdoor gym complete with a massage table, catering to both entertainment and wellness needs. The foredeck's expansive sunpad cushions offer ample space for relaxation and sunbathing.

The yacht's exterior design is further accentuated at night by a sophisticated lighting array, including underwater and courtesy lights that create a golden glow around the vessel. The flybridge, with its mirror-finished black overhang, enhances the yacht's sleek profile.

For the adventurous at heart, AK Royalty comes fully equipped with a range of water toys, including gold-painted jet skis and an assortment of diving and fishing gear. An anti-jellyfish pool, water slide, climbing wall, and trampoline ensure endless aquatic enjoyment.

Practical features are also present, including a DJ booth, aft deck spa pool, barbecue, and foredeck cinema, ensuring that guests' entertainment and comfort are well-catered to throughout their journey aboard AK Royalty.

Interior Design

The living spaces feature a consistent theme of high-contrast black and white marble, which establishes a bold and contemporary atmosphere. This choice of material is not only visually striking but also practical for the marine environment, ensuring longevity and ease of maintenance.

The polished stainless frames of the sofas and black marble countertops contribute to the cohesive design language that flows throughout the yacht.

Accommodation

Accommodations aboard AK Royalty are designed to deliver comfort and privacy for up to 10 guests across five well-appointed cabins.

Central to the guest accommodations is the full-beam master suite, a spacious retreat that stands out with its generous dimensions and luxurious finishing. The owner's bathroom elevates luxury with its use of panda white marble and a distinctive translucent acrylic bath, set against a wall of backlit pale onyx, creating an environment of serene sophistication.

Each guest cabin on AK Royalty is designed with a clear focus on comfort and style. The bathrooms attached to these cabins mirror the sophistication found throughout the yacht, featuring high-contrast black and white marble with gold detailing around the fittings.

Crew accommodations are given due consideration as well, ensuring that the team of seven who maintain and operate AK Royalty have their own dedicated spaces, designed for rest and privacy. Their quarters are strategically separated from guest areas to maintain a discreet service environment onboard.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M90) 3,650hp engines, motor yacht AK Royalty is capable of reaching a top speed of 35 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. AK Royalty also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
