Design & Construction

Designed around a fast displacement carbon fibre hull and superstructure she features a 10.8m beam and a 1.9m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 490 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the 48M SuperSport design. Launched in July 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in November 2014.

Exterior Design

Khalilah's profile is marked by dynamic, sporty lines and a distinctive reverse bow, which not only contributes to its striking appearance but also enhances its performance at sea.

Finished in a bold golden hue, both the hull and superstructure of Khalilah command attention as they reflect the sunlight, creating a luminous effect that is eye-catching.

The sundeck is designed as an expansive open area, inviting guests to bask in the sun or unwind in the Jacuzzi while taking in panoramic views. This space is optimized for relaxation and social interaction, with ample room for guests to lounge and enjoy the open air.

Khalilah's aft-deck is equally impressive in its spaciousness and layout, presenting an extensive social area with a variety of seating arrangements. This area is ideal for entertaining, allowing guests to gather comfortably and enjoy the surroundings.

Khalilah is equipped with twin side garages that house tenders and water toys, ensuring that adventure is never far away. These features, along with the beach club, provide guests with direct access to the ocean and an array of activities.

Khalilah is a balanced fusion of innovative design, practical features, and visual appeal, presenting a contemporary and spirited character that is both memorable and functional.

Interior Design

The interior of Khalilah is designed with Asian-inspired motifs that contribute to the vessel's unique aesthetic. The main deck saloon features floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light, framing the ocean as a living, moving art piece. The seating area, fashioned from birchwood, is vast and offers a Buddha bar that complements the Zen-like atmosphere.

In contrast to the main saloon, the sky lounge on the upper deck offers a more energetic vibe, ideal for socializing. Finished in all-white with bright color accents, it provides a loft-like ambiance, further amplified by the presence of overhead skylights. The lounge is equipped with comfortable seating and loungers, inviting guests to relax and engage with one another in a casual setting.

Accommodation

Khalilah offers comfortable accommodations for up to 11 guests across her five staterooms. The layout is designed to ensure privacy and comfort for all guests on board.

The master stateroom, located on the main deck, features a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and is complemented by expansive windows that allow for ample natural light and provide breathtaking views. The attention to detail in the design and the modern aesthetic create a tranquil space for relaxation.

Adjacent to the master stateroom on the main deck is a VIP stateroom, also with an en-suite bathroom, offering a luxurious and comfortable space for guests.

On the lower deck, there are two additional VIP staterooms, each with their own en-suite facilities, ensuring that guests have a private and restful onboard experience. An additional guest stateroom is available on this deck, equipped with single beds and a pullman berth, complete with an en-suite bathroom.

Crew accommodation is designed to house up to nine crew members. There is one captain's cabin with a double bed and en-suite, and four additional crew cabins, each with two bunk beds and their own en-suites.

Performance & Capabilities

Khalilah is equipped with twin MTU diesel engines (model 16V 2000 M94) with an output of 2,600 horsepower each at a maximum of 2450 revolutions per minute. These powerful engines enable Khalilah to achieve a top speed of 24 knots, while her cruising speed is a comfortable 15 knots. At top speed, Khalilah offers a range of 1,500 nautical miles, supported by her substantial fuel capacity of 40,000 liters.

This vessel is notable for being the first all-carbon superyacht, a material choice that significantly reduces weight and enhances performance. The advanced tri-hull design of Khalilah ensures excellent seakeeping abilities and stability, making her journey as efficient as it is smooth. The wave-piercing bow further contributes to her performance by cutting through the water cleanly, reducing drag and improving fuel efficiency.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Khalilah also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
