Delivered in 2015, Angra Too is a 124'8" motor yacht built by Castagnola. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Cantiere Navale Tigullio, while Studio Francesco Rogantin is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing wood hull and superstructure she features a 26'7" beam and a 3'11" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 271 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in November 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

Angra Too's hull is painted dark blue, presenting a striking contrast against the white superstructure. The deck is surfaced with teak, known for its durability and resistance to the elements. Below the waterline, the hull is painted black, while the boot top features a red stripe, adding a touch of distinctiveness to the vessel's appearance.

The cockpit area includes a walk-around space behind the sofa and two tables that can be interconnected to form a larger dining area. Additionally, the cockpit is equipped with a service bar, an ice maker, a fridge, and storage on the port side to ensure that refreshments are always within reach.

Moving to the sundeck, the layout includes sun pads and a sunbathing area. A dining area is set up for six to eight guests, providing an intimate space for meals. The sundeck also features a bar with a fridge, ice maker, and storage for drinks and snacks. Loose furniture under a bimini offers flexible seating arrangements, with an additional bimini extending aft to shade the dining area.

Interior Design

The galley is equipped with high-end Miele appliances, including two ovens and stove tops. It features six interchangeable fridges and freezers, allowing for versatile storage options based on trip requirements. The pantry adjacent to the galley provides ample space for food preparation before service.

The helm offers an efficient layout for navigation and vessel management. The bridge also includes a conning station, a daybed for guests, and the owner's office, serving as a practical workspace.

The main salon presents a comfortable area with high ceilings, enhancing the sense of space. The indoor dining area, located near the salon, is used primarily during inclement weather. The salon's wooden floors and detailed craftsmanship continue the consistent theme of quality materials and design throughout the yacht.

Accommodation

Angra Too provides accommodation for up to ten guests across five well-appointed cabins. The master stateroom, located forward on the main deck, features his and hers bathrooms, providing generous space and convenience. A large walk-in dressing room adds to the suite's functionality. Modern amenities, including an advanced television and sound system, ensure a blend of luxury and contemporary convenience.

Below deck, Angra Too accommodates guests across four additional staterooms. These include two double cabins and two twin cabins, each offering generous space and comfort. For added convenience, a nanny cabin is located on the starboard side of the main deck. This cabin is suitable for either a nanny or a child, ensuring that families can travel with ease and comfort.

Angra Too also provides accommodation for a crew of six, distributed across four cabins. The crew quarters are designed to be functional and comfortable, ensuring that the crew can perform their duties efficiently while maintaining a high level of service. A generous crew mess and direct access to the garage and engine room allow for discreet and seamless service.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 3 x diesel MTU (12V 2000 M94) 12-cylinder 1,948hp engines, motor yacht Angra Too is capable of reaching a top speed of 31 knots, and comfortably cruises at 28 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean.
