Tankoa Launches First T55 Sportiva Superyacht Rose Ahead of Monaco Debut

Tankoa Yachts has officially launched the superyacht Rose, marking the shipyard's entry into the luxury sport yacht segment.

As the first hull in the all-new Tankoa T55 Sportiva series, the Rose was designed in collaboration with Luca Dini Design & Architecture, integrating a more athletic profile with the shipyard’s established full-custom approach.

Owner-Led Custom Creation

Exterior styling for the T55 Sportiva is by Luca Dini, while the interiors have been crafted by Lissoni & Partners under the direction of renowned Italian designer Piero Lissoni. The result is a superyacht with contemporary styling and a calm, residential feel throughout.

Thanks to the Sportiva Line, we’re introducing a new take on contemporary luxury, sleeker, sportier, with flowing lines that balance elegance and performance."

Tankoa Yachts

The owner of this T55 Sportiva – a young entrepreneur with strong ties to the yachting world – played an active role in every stage of the design and build. This hands-on involvement has shaped the yacht into a true custom creation, with features tailored to enhance both aesthetics and functionality.

Key Features: Light, Space and a Connection to the Sea

A defining feature of Rose is its extensive glazing, with full-height windows on the main and upper decks that maximise light and offer uninterrupted views. One of the most distinctive spaces onboard the motor yacht is the Nemo Room, a semi-submerged lounge designed to bring guests closer to the marine environment in a relaxed, immersive setting.

The exterior of the yacht areas is equally ambitious, featuring a generous beach club built around a striking swimming pool. Lounging zones are spread across the decks, while two jacuzzis add to the experience - a private one for the owner and a full-beam unit forward on the upper deck.

Commenting on the launch, Tankoa CEO Vincenzo Poerio highlighted the significance of the T55 Sportiva line within the brand’s wider portfolio. “With the Sportiva Line, we’re offering a sleeker, sportier take on contemporary luxury,” he said. “M/Y Rose perfectly represents this vision, delivering strong performance and timeless design."

Launched on April 14 at Tankoa’s Genoa facility, Rose is now undergoing final outfitting and sea trials ahead of her world premiere at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.
