Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement bullet proof steel hull and an aluminium & composite superstructure she features a 16.75m beam and a 4.6m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 2,864 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.

Construction started in mid 1995. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in January 1997 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 1999.

Exterior Design

The bow has been redesigned, now featuring a more pronounced profile that enhances its maritime capabilities while providing a robust foundation for the foredeck tender garage. This innovative garage is equipped with gull-wing doors, engineered to operate reliably even in the full force of a gale, ensuring seamless tender deployment.

The stern of Attessa IV is characterized by a substantial aluminum door that, when activated, retracts entirely below the aft deck sole. This feature not only maintains the yacht's sleek aesthetic but also underscores the commitment to practicality and safety, with the door designed to be watertight even though it is not a structural requirement.

Throughout the vessel, the deck spaces are strategically zoned to foster intimate gatherings. The central ventilation and exhaust trunks serve as a midpoint, creating a 'waist' that aids in dividing the expanse into more manageable and cozy sections. The guest deck foyer highlights this approach, with its walls pinching in at the flares to yield sheltered spaces for chaise lounges, allowing guests to enjoy moments of privacy and tranquility.

The integration of Kevlar lining and ballistic glass throughout the yacht's hull and superstructure not only speaks to an underlying emphasis on safety but also adds an unexpected layer of durability to its elegant profile.

Attessa IV showcases a redesigned bow with a robust tender garage, a sleek retractable stern door, and a safety-focused design featuring Kevlar and ballistic glass, accommodating up to 18 guests in luxury.

Interior Design

The yacht offers easy access with a central circulation design. The stairs, spanning five decks, consist of paired semi-circles divided by a fore and aft passageway, forming landings and foyers on each deck. The forward bulkhead features a 14m high wall adorned with gold waves using a patented cold sprayable metal process. Below, the flooring and stairs showcase white Botticino marble with Verde Rameggiato border and diamond-shaped insets, complemented by polished stainless steel stair rails with gold detailing. Each landing and lobby boasts unique decorations, with the guest deck lobby featuring three Botero sculptures.

Accommodation

Attessa IV offers accommodation for up to 18 guests in nine suites.

The guest deck accommodates four well-appointed guest suites, featuring an elegant dining room/library forward and a saloon aft. Additionally, it offers an alfresco dining area and sun pads, providing diverse spaces and activities for a full day. On the spa deck, two more guest suites with king-size beds are complemented by a pair of twin cabins.

The master suite, one deck above, features a private office against the stair column, adjacent to large windows. The master stateroom pays homage to 1930s Hollywood glamour, featuring an ultra-romantic 19th-century English fireplace with Salaria marble. A large bath and dressing area separate the stateroom from the sitting room, which contrasts sapele joinery and leather chairs with another fireplace. The sitting room's primary color is green, bridging to the private aft deck lounge in navy blue and green tones.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Wartsila (12V 32E) 6,595hp engines, motor yacht Attessa IV is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 18 knots. With her 399,133 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 7,660 nautical miles at 16 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Wellness

The yacht boasts numerous treatment rooms and a sauna, leading to a well-equipped gym and extending onto the swim platform. Just ahead of the spa area, two additional guest suites with king-size beds are complemented by a pair of twin cabins, thoughtfully decorated for the owner's grandchildren. A sophisticated main deck cinema with 3D capability is conveniently located next to a lounge and bar.

Tenders

Onboard, Attessa IV features an 11.5m Novurania Chase and a 10m Riva stored in a forward tender garage. The garage is equipped with gull-wing doors capable of operation even in a full gale. Additionally, bulwarks slide down and aft simultaneously, facilitating the launch of tenders over the side.
