Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.47m beam and a 1.75m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 230 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in June 2022 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

Upon approach, one is greeted by the ample hi-lo platform at the stern, capable of accommodating an 18-foot tender, with additional space allocated for another tender or water toys. The aft cockpit is expansive, rivaling those found on larger vessels, offering a substantial entertainment area complete with a bar, ice maker, storage, a refrigerator, and a sink for convenient outdoor socializing.

The yacht's side decks are designed to provide practical wind protection with retractable doors, ensuring guest comfort while lounging. The bulwarks are lowered alongside the floor-to-ceiling windows, enhancing the unobstructed views of the surrounding waters and amplifying the connection to the sea.

Freedom's upper deck or sky lounge is equipped with a helm station featuring comprehensive navigation systems and additional social spaces. The top deck, or sundeck, boasts modularity in its furniture arrangement, allowing for a customizable layout that can cater to various leisure activities, from sunbathing to social gatherings, and includes provisions for a tender or jet skis if desired.

The yacht's bow features a dedicated area for relaxation with a hot tub, sun pads, and an additional seating area with a sink, ice maker, and refrigerator, mirroring the self-sufficient design philosophy found throughout the vessel.

Freedom is designed with both luxury and functionality in mind, ensuring that every guest experiences the utmost in comfort and privacy, while the crew has the facilities required to provide exceptional service.

Interior Design

The main saloon features an expansive seating area complemented by a large television with an accompanying sound bar. The area is well-lit, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows that offer unobstructed views of the water, further enhanced by the lowered bulwarks. The headroom within this space is notably generous, contributing to the open and airy ambiance.

Adjacent to the seating area is the dining section. This space is designed with flexibility in mind, featuring a foldable table that can be repurposed as a bar or serving area for social events. Side opening doors on both sides of the dining area allow for a natural breeze, enhancing the dining experience. Overhead, a chandelier-like lighting fixture adds a touch of elegance to the space.

The galley connects directly to the dining area, with an option for privacy using a partition and pocket doors. It is equipped with extensive refrigeration, a cooking island, and ample storage solutions to cater to extended stays and larger groups. High-quality appliances, including a hob, oven, dishwasher, and trash compactor, are integrated into the galley, which also has a side access door for crew use, maintaining separation from guest areas when necessary.

The helm has a comprehensive array of equipment. Four multifunction displays, instrumentation for the Caterpillar engines, thruster controls, and an autopilot system are all part of the helm's array. The space is designed for efficiency and ease of control, with a clear line of sight provided by forward-sloping screens and side access doors for quick deck access.

Accommodation

Freedom is a yacht that offers accommodation for up to 10 guests within its well-appointed suites. Ensuring a relaxed luxury yacht experience, the yacht is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew members on board.

The owners' cabin is situated on the main deck and is both spacious and well-equipped. It features a selection of wardrobes, a dressing table, large windows on both sides for panoramic views, and includes en-suite facilities with twin bathrooms connected by a central shower. Ample storage in this suite ensures that personal belongings can be neatly stowed away, maintaining the cabin's sleek appearance.

Below the main deck, there are four additional guest cabins. Three of these cabins match the standards of a VIP suite due to their generous proportions and comprehensive amenities. Each of these cabins features a double bed, significant wardrobe space, and large hull windows with opening sections to allow for natural ventilation. These cabins also offer private en-suite bathrooms complete with rainfall showers, ample storage, and discrete privacy doors for the toilets.

The fourth cabin on the lower deck, while slightly less opulent than the VIP suites, is nonetheless a comfortable and well-sized cabin. It contains twin single beds, significant storage options, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

For the crew, there is a separate captain's cabin with a double bed, en-suite facilities, and an integrated control system for the yacht. Additionally, there are two crew cabins, each equipped with bunks and their own en-suite bathrooms, providing privacy and comfort for the crew members.

Performance & Capabilities

Freedom houses twin Caterpillar C32 engines, each producing an impressive 1,900 horsepower. This formidable powertrain grants the yacht a top speed of approximately 18 to 18.5 knots. While Freedom is not designed to plane, her fast displacement hull allows for efficient cruising, making her an excellent choice for long voyages.

When cruising at a reduced speed of 10 knots, Freedom boasts a range of 2,000 miles, which further extends to 3,000 miles at a leisurely pace of 8 knots. This capability ensures that Freedom can undertake extensive voyages, providing her guests with the opportunity to explore distant horizons without the frequent need for refueling.

To ensure the utmost comfort for her passengers, Freedom is equipped with fin stabilizers. These stabilizers are crucial for reducing the yacht's roll while at sea, enhancing onboard comfort, especially in rough conditions.
