- Shaded area with sofas and armchairs
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 27'10" beam and a 7'1" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 314 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Impulsive I features a clipper bow, which provides a classic and sturdy appearance. Its deck is constructed from teak, known for its durability and resistance to weather. The hull and superstructure are both finished in white, creating a clean and uniform look. The yacht is accented by a black boot top and below the waterline, the hull is also black.
The sundeck includes a Jacuzzi at the aft, surrounded by sun mattresses, providing a practical area for sunbathing and relaxation. A shaded section, created by the antenna-holder arch, offers a comfortable space for conversation, furnished with sofas and armchairs. The fully-equipped bar located near the external wheelhouse is designed for guest convenience, ensuring easy access during cruising.
Functional elements such as the robust bow thruster made by Vosper and the 20-ft hard-keel dinghy housed in the tender garage highlight the yacht's practical features. The open-air garaging for a hard-keel pneumatic boat on the main deck further demonstrates the emphasis on functionality and safety.
Interior Design
The main deck features the saloon, a spacious area that benefits from large portholes on both sides, filling the room with ample natural light. The open space is furnished with practical sofas and armchairs, ensuring comfort for all guests. A low cabinet with a built-in hide-away television screen and a piano complete the room. The dining area, positioned between the saloon and the cockpit, is semi-circular and enclosed with glass partitions. It provides various tables and chairs for dining.
The galley, located mid-ship on the port side, is divided into technical and functional zones. It includes a large professional-style kitchen, a crew’s mess with a dinette, and a practical laundry area. This setup ensures that all culinary and housekeeping needs are efficiently managed.
The helm is situated on the raised half-deck, providing excellent visibility during navigation. The layout includes a modern, fully equipped bar designed specifically for guests. The external wheelhouse, also located on the sun deck, ensures complete and safe control of the vessel, even during docking maneuvers.
Accommodation
Impulsive I is designed to comfortably accommodate up to ten guests. The yacht features a total of five well-appointed cabins, ensuring a comfortable and private retreat for each guest.
The Owner's Suite is situated on the main deck, providing a spacious and serene full-beam cabin. The suite includes a centrally positioned double bed, complemented by a long, low cabinet on the port side and a sofa on the starboard side. An elegant wall-mounted television screen is placed opposite the bed, with a convenient low cabinet underneath. Behind the bed, the suite offers twin his and hers bathrooms, separated by a large walk-in shower room that also features a Jacuzzi, ensuring ultimate relaxation and comfort.
The lower deck houses the remaining guest accommodations, arranged around a central lobby for ease of access. This includes two expansive VIP staterooms and two guest staterooms. Each VIP stateroom spans the full beam of the hull and includes a centrally located double bed, a television screen, a sofa, and a desk. The cabins are soundproofed from the engine room by their respective bathrooms, which are equipped with shower boxes, and also feature walk-in wardrobes. The two guest staterooms are identical, each furnished with twin beds, a television screen, a wardrobe, and a bathroom with a shower box.
The crew quarters are located far forward on the lower deck, ensuring privacy for guests. These quarters include four double cabins, each equipped with pullman beds and private bathrooms. This setup allows the eight-member crew to maintain operational efficiency and provide exceptional service.
