Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminum superstructure she features a 15.8m (52ft) beam and a 4.25m (13.9ft) draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 3,870 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch-and-go helipad.
Construction started in early 2006 with the keel laid under the project name 'Safari'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards and was delivered to her owner, Alberto Bailleres, a Mexican industrialist, in June 2008.
Exterior Design
This Blohm+Voss superyacht is distinguishable as a Tim Heywood design. Smart clean lines with a featured graceful rise in the superstructure just forward of amidships to create a flow to the raked bow. This subtle curve rises to highlight the elongated slim horizontal oval-shaped window on the lower deck.
Vertical deck lines adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, although not continuous, enhance the yacht's modern appeal. The VIP suite introduces an innovative 'invisible' balcony, sliding out from the superstructure, cleverly preserving the vessel's sleek lines. Forward on the upper deck, side balconies flare from the hull to provide extended relaxing areas.
Each deck's top features a gentle curve, softening the overall aesthetic. A fixed transom, flanked by dual staircases that elegantly flare out as they reach the deck, grants easy access. The bridge deck's aft deck, mostly covered, provides a sheltered and elevated space for relaxation.
Interior Design
The yacht is privately owned with a high level of confidentiality maintained, hence no interior photographs are available.
