More DetailsThe 142'1" motor yacht Missing Link was delivered to her owners in 2015 by Christensen. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Christensen, while Carol Williamson & Associates is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 29'6" beam and a 7'10" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 480 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.
Construction started in mid 2012 with the keel laid under the project name 'Buzz'. Launched in February 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2015.
Accommodation
Missing Link offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M53) 12-cylinder 1,800hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Missing Link is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 11,999 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
