The 43m motor yacht Nina Lu was delivered to her owners in 2009 by American shipyard Trinity Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Trinity Yachts, while Patrick Knowles is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 399 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2006 with the keel laid under the project name 'Marsha Kay'. Launched in February 2008 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in January 2009.
Exterior Design
Nina Lu presents a straightforward yet striking exterior design characterized by a navy blue hull accented with a red boot stripe and complemented by a white superstructure. The yacht has a raked bow, contributing to its sleek profile. The overall look is both functional and stylish, offering a classic nautical appearance.
On the sun deck, an L-shaped bar with stools and a casual dining banquette provide additional spaces for informal gatherings. The design includes a powder room within the support arch, emphasizing practicality.
Interior Design
The interior design of the yacht by Patrick Knowles, has an open-plan main salon and dining area that are designed for practicality and ease of movement. The main salon's aft end features sliding doors that open onto the aft deck, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces.
The upper deck sky lounge offers ample seating, a large screen HD TV, and a semi-circular wet bar. This space is designed for relaxation and entertainment, ensuring that guests have access to leisure activities.
Accommodation
The yacht Nina Lu provides accommodation for up to 10 guests in five well-appointed cabins. The main deck houses the master suite, which includes a walk-in closet, a desk, an L-shaped sofa, and separate his and hers bathrooms featuring a central Jacuzzi bath and a shower. On the lower deck, there are four additional guest staterooms, each designed to ensure comfort and privacy.
The crew of Nina Lu is accommodated in quarters designed to support up to nine crew members, ensuring a high standard of service for all guests onboard.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 12-cylinder 1,800hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Nina Lu is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 45,404 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,606 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
