Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.05m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 385 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2020. This was the fourth yacht built on the Oasis 40M design. Launched in January 2022 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Livorno yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in February 2022.
Exterior Design
The yacht's main deck aft boasts two folding platforms that enhance the beam and provide expansive views. The integration of a transformer platform on the swim platform ensures guests enjoy effortless access to the water.
The exterior of Northern Escape is further defined by its practical yet inviting wet bar, a built-in U-shaped sofa, and an infinity pool – elements that transform the aft deck into a central social hub for guests. The yacht's sundeck competes with any within the 40-meter category, offering ample space for relaxation or entertainment.
Privacy is also a priority, as seen on the bridge deck aft, where access is exclusive through the skylounge. Additionally, the forward area of the bridge is designed as a secluded spot for guests to unwind with a cocktail or soak up the sun.
Northern Escape's design successfully merges its interior and exterior spaces, fostering an open and fluid atmosphere throughout. Flush door sills on both decks contribute to this harmonious layout.
Interior Design
The bridge, accessible from the skylounge, is notable for its thoughtful layout, featuring a central helm seat set against the commanding backdrop of floor-to-ceiling glass. The control pod is equipped with two screens at eye level and three additional screens above, providing the helmsman with a comprehensive suite of navigational tools at a glance.
Surrounding the helm seat, the bridge offers a clean teak deck, with additional seating positioned to one side, allowing guests to appreciate the panoramic views without encroaching on the operational space. Lighting in this area is carefully planned to ensure optimal visibility for the captain while maintaining a comfortable ambiance for onlookers.
The skylounge itself takes advantage of the yacht's breadth, incorporating a design that maximizes space and openness. Full-height glass panels invite the outside in, creating a fluid transition to the aft deck. The area benefits from strategic lighting that highlights the quality of the materials used and the craftsmanship with which they are employed, providing a serene environment for relaxation or socializing.
On the main deck, the salon stands out with its wraparound white panels and generous use of glass, contributing to a sense of spaciousness. The design emphasizes curvature, with arcs of seating arranged within a circular lounge, facilitating conversation and interaction among guests. The choice of materials reflects a preference for timelessness and durability, with surfaces finished to withstand the demands of marine environments without sacrificing aesthetic appeal.
Accommodation
Northern Escape is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests, the yacht features a flexible cabin configuration that ensures a personalized experience for those on board.
Northern Escape boasts a total of six cabins, including the versatile multi-use cabin on the main deck. This cabin is adaptable, functioning either as a gym, massage room, or storage space, yet can be easily converted to accommodate two guests in large Pullman berths. This space also includes an adjoining bathroom equipped with a shower, enhancing the functionality of the room.
On the lower deck, the twin cabins are designed with flexibility in mind, each featuring a Pullman berth to maximize sleeping arrangements. These twin cabins offer the option to be configured as doubles, catering to various guest preferences and family setups.
The yacht ensures that crew members of up to eight are also well-accommodated, with an improved crew layout that includes a larger mess, pantry, and laundry. This attention to crew quarters underlines the importance of their comfort and the role it plays in the seamless experience of guests aboard Northern Escape.

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1400) 12-cylinder 1,400hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Northern Escape is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots.
