Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.2m beam and a 3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 939 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Launched in November 2012 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in March 2013.

Exterior Design

Odyssey's exterior design is a symphony of modern luxury and innovative architecture, harmoniously blending form and function. Her captivating lines and warm grey hull distinguish her amidst the sea.

The vessel's most outstanding feature is the pioneering float-in garage—a marvel of engineering that elegantly doubles as a swimming pool. This ingenious solution not only serves as a secure haven for the custom Riva Iseo tender but also transforms into a waterfront living space that redefines the concept of a private island retreat for the owner and guests.

Odyssey's innovative beach club area, accessible through a shell door to port, seamlessly integrates with the floodable tender dock, creating an expansive and immersive experience at the water's edge. Here, guests can indulge in the luxury of a tranquil oasis, where the boundaries between the yacht and the sea dissolve. The beach club becomes a focal point of leisure and connection, further enhanced by dramatic underwater lighting that heightens the ambience and enlivens the space with a dance of light.

The stern door of the beach club reveals yet another layer of Odyssey's ingenuity. When opened, it forms an impressive terrace extending over the sea, complete with integrated side stairs that become convenient bathing ladders for direct sea access. This innovative design element underscores CRN's commitment to elevating the yachting experience, ensuring that every facet of the vessel offers both luxury and practicality.

The yacht's superstructure, characterized by a subtle inward slope, accommodates floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the interiors with natural light and afford panoramic views of the surrounding seascape. These expansive windows reflect CRN's intent to bring guests closer to the sea, maximizing their connection with the marine environment while preserving privacy.

The sundeck serves as a wellness sanctuary, equipped with a central exercise area and a Technogym suite. The aft section, while offering ample space for relaxation and sunbathing, ingeniously doubles as a touch-and-go helipad, discreetly integrating this feature without compromising the yacht's graceful lines.

In every corner of Odyssey, the commitment to excellence and the pursuit of the extraordinary are palpable. The yacht's interior spaces are not merely areas to pass through but destinations in their own right, promising a journey defined by luxury, innovation, and unparalleled sophistication.

Interior Design

The collaboration between Studio Zuccon and CRN's interior department on Odyssey, with input from the owner, has culminated in living spaces that exude elegance and warmth through a masterful blend of materials and bespoke design elements.

The main saloon serves as a grand entrance to Odyssey's lavish interior, where guests are greeted with a sophisticated colour palette of browns and creams, accented by hints of muted green. The use of luxurious Loro Piana fabrics throughout creates a cohesive and sumptuously tactile experience. Custom furniture pieces by Fendi Casa and other high-end designers add to the allure, ensuring each space is not only visually compelling but also supremely comfortable.

An intricate interplay of textures is evident throughout Odyssey's interiors. Genuine and simulated galuchat (stingray leather) melds with other fine leathers, plush carpets, and polished wood, resulting in a dynamic yet harmonious environment. The attention to detail is further exemplified in the choice of decor, such as the Andrew Martin coffee tables that feature weathered wood tops resting between elegant Baxter sofas and armchairs. A white Yamaha grand piano commands the forward end of the saloon, reflecting the owner's satisfaction with the yacht's design and serving as a striking focal point.

Ascending to the upper deck, one finds the pièce de résistance of Odyssey's communal spaces: the upper saloon. Here, the inward-sloping superstructure and floor-to-ceiling windows afford panoramic views and a feeling akin to a modern loft space. This area is thoughtfully divided into a comfortable seating zone and a dining space that can accommodate 10 guests, fostering a strong connection with the sea while dining or lounging. The upper saloon is a true triumph of design, where expansive windows invite the outside in, providing an immersive maritime experience with an emphasis on seclusion and privacy.

Accommodation

Odyssey offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in five suites comprising an owner's cabin and four VIP cabins.

The owner's suite on the main deck is a sanctuary of solitude and luxury. Featuring a study that doubles as a television lounge and a permanent balcony enclosed by sliding glass doors, the suite offers a private retreat within the confines of Odyssey's hull. A touch of a button reveals the enclosed balcony to the elements, allowing for an alfresco experience without leaving the comfort of the suite.

The master bathroom spans the full beam of the yacht, with a central space highlighted by his-and-hers basins flanking a free-standing Boffi bathtub, all set against a backdrop of a grand bronze wall mirror. The integration of a hidden television behind a magic mirror ensures that the sleek, modern aesthetic is maintained without sacrificing entertainment.

The lower deck of the Odyssey features four guest cabins. The cabins are thoughtfully laid out, two to port and two to starboard, with the port cabins offering transverse, inboard-facing double/twin beds, and the starboard cabins showcasing double beds set at a 45-degree angle. This unique configuration ensures that every guest enjoys ample space and privacy.

The guest cabins are not only visually pleasing but also functional and spacious. Large hull windows invite natural light, offering guests stunning views of the ocean. The accompanying dressing rooms provide ample space for personal belongings, while generous ensuite facilities ensure comfort and convenience. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the cabin design, from the choice of Loro Piana fabrics and throws to the pale oak finishes that lend a serene and welcoming atmosphere.

In addition to the guest accommodations, the Odyssey offers exceptional crew quarters. The crew area is designed to ensure that the dedicated team onboard can rest and rejuvenate in comfort, ready to provide guests with impeccable service. The tank deck is efficiently organized with refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage spaces, as well as a well-equipped laundry room, all featuring excellent headroom for ease of movement.

Forward on the lower deck, the crew is provided with two spacious mess areas and six twin cabins, thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable living environment for those who work tirelessly behind the scenes. The main deck galley has been collaboratively designed with input from the crew and chef, emphasizing functionality and ease of cleaning with features such as floor drains. The strategic placement of pantries on each deck, connected by a large food lift, ensures seamless service to guests.
