Design & Construction

Designed around an aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.98m beam and a 4.5m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 233 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2013. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in June 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2015.

Exterior Design

Embarking upon the opulent decks of the Ravenger, one is immediately struck by the yacht's elegant navy and white color palette, a classic combination that exudes a sense of maritime sophistication. This luxury vessel showcases a sleek and graceful exterior that harmonizes with the vastness of the sea.

The hull, sculpted from resilient aluminum, displays a stunning dark blue hue, which is beautifully complemented by the "Chevy white" superstructure. This contrast not only highlights Ravenger's graceful lines but also mirrors the natural elements—echoing the deep blues of ocean depths and the crisp whites of cresting waves.

The sloop's clean decks are the result of a thoughtful layout that incorporates captive winches and streamlined line handling, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functional efficiency.

The yacht's 57-meter high-aspect carbon-fiber mast by Rondal not only adds to the vessel's majestic profile but also supports more than 1,000 square meters of sail, promising an exhilarating sailing experience. This setup signifies Ravenger's dual nature: a luxurious world cruiser with the innate capability to compete in the most prestigious sailing regattas.

Enhancing the yacht's versatility is the raised helm area, which is thoughtfully positioned for optimal control and visibility. The twin helm stations are flanked by a larger U-shaped seating arrangement, complete with a teak table that unfolds for communal dining experiences, all sheltered under a permanent canvas awning with clear Eisenglass panels. This outdoor living space is perfect for guests to gather, converse, and enjoy the panoramic views of the sails and horizon.

Further aft, the yacht's "beach deck" invites guests to indulge in watersports and leisure. This area, set two steps lower than the main deck, serves as an inviting stage for outdoor activities. The transom door opens wide to reveal a generous bathing platform, and a cleverly concealed 5.2-meter Castoldi Jet tender is housed within, ready to transport guests on aquatic adventures.

Ravenger is not merely a vessel; she is a statement of performance, engineered with precision and purpose. Her sailing capabilities and engine contribute to a yachting experience that is both exhilarating and serene.

Interior Design

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the interior spaces of Ravenger are characterized by natural white oak floors that provide a warm and organic feel underfoot. This light and airy foundation is complemented by pale grey fabrics that add a sense of calm and sophistication to the overall ambiance. The deep brown hues of the French walnut tables and joinery introduce a masculine touch, while the contemporary stainless steel hardware and smooth upholstered overheads and wall panels deliver a modern, sleek aesthetic.

The saloon, with its 360-degree views, is a crowning feature of the yacht's interior. It is designed not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its functionality, serving as a central social hub with ample seating for relaxation and conversation. The space is deliberately uncluttered, ensuring that the striking vistas remain the focal point for guests onboard.

Accommodation

The yacht is configured to host a select group of six guests, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience. The guest quarters comprise a lavish full-beam master suite and two identical twin-bed cabins.

The master suite is a haven of tranquility, generously spanning the yacht's beam and offering an oasis of comfort with its own sitting area, sleeping area, office, and opulent en suite facilities. The natural light that floods the space through port lights and a large stern hatch further enhances the suite's airy and welcoming ambiance.

Accompanying the master suite are the twin cabins, offering plush accommodations for guests with luxurious bedding and ample storage. These cabins are identical in their layout and amenities, providing a harmonious living space for additional guests.

While catering to the needs of our esteemed guests, Ravenger also ensures the well-being of her dedicated crew of up to 5. Forward of the saloon and opening off a vestibule lies a strategic crew area, which has been designed for functionality and efficiency. The crew's living quarters are as thoughtfully appointed as the guest accommodations, with a focus on comfort and practicality to support the seamless operation of the yacht.

The crew area includes a state-of-the-art stainless steel galley, which is adroitly arranged for optimal traffic flow and shares a counter with the laundry for additional workspace. Direct access from the crew hallway to the foredeck via a staircase facilitates discreet and efficient movement around the yacht.

Performance & Capabilities

Speed is an important factor when considering the performance of any luxury yacht, and Ravenger does not disappoint in this regard. Designed to move with grace and agility, she is built to cut through the waves efficiently.

Ravenger boasts a 200-tonne displacement and more than 1,000 square meters of sail, hoisted on a towering 57-meter high aspect carbon-fiber mast crafted by Rondal. This sail area allows her to harness the wind effectively, providing a thrilling sailing experience without compromising the comfort of her guests. The yacht is equipped with a flexible sail plan, allowing her to adapt to various weather conditions and maintaining optimal performance, whether cruising the tranquil waters of the Caribbean or navigating the challenging conditions of the Northern Seas.

When not undersail, the Ravenger houses a robust 533kW Caterpillar C18 engine, capable of reaching 15 knots and cruising at 12 knots. This formidable engine is paired with two auxiliary generators, a setup which ensures uninterrupted power supply to all onboard systems during long voyages.

The yacht's engineering spaces are designed with noise control in mind, ensuring that the serene atmosphere aboard is not disrupted by machinery. The path to the engine room is thoughtfully arranged to minimize noise transmission to the living areas, highlighting Royal Huisman's commitment to comfort and luxury.

The interior of Ravenger is a harmonious blend of high-quality materials and craftsmanship, functionality, and a minimalistic design philosophy —creating a vessel that is a floating embodiment of life's true luxuries: friendship, nature, and the joy of exploration.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
