Tamsen is an award winning 52m sail yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Perini Navi in 2007. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Perini Navi, while Ron Holland Design is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.27m beam and a 8.39m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 463 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2005. Launched in February 2006 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2007.
Accommodation
Tamsen offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C 32) 12-cylinder 966hp engines running at 2010rpm, motor yacht Tamsen is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 45,700 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,400 nautical miles.
