Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 11.4m beam and a 12.3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 491 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the third yacht built on the 60M Series design. Launched in August 2017 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in September 2017.
Exterior Design
Crafted with an aluminium hull and superstructure, Seven's sleek lines and graceful profile are immediately striking. Her dual Panamax aluminium masts, dressed with carbon fibre rigging, booms, and spreaders, command attention, not only for their impressive stature but also for their technical prowess. The yacht carries a sail plan that spans more than 2,000 square meters, ensuring she cuts through the water with ease and grace.
The intelligent design extends to the cockpit, which is set lower than the aft deck and protected by the sundeck overhang. This area serves as both a welcoming arrivals zone and the social heart of the yacht, offering comfortable lounge seating, an extendable dining table, and a tastefully positioned offset bar. It's conceived as a multifunctional lounge where guests can gather for al fresco dining or simply relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Moving forward, the foredeck of Seven transforms into a private oasis. By elevating the deck to accommodate stowage for water toys and tenders, Perini Navi has created a protected space perfect for intimate gatherings. An awning that deploys from the flybridge adds versatility, providing shade for breakfast or a quiet dinner spot with a view. This thoughtful design element is a nod to the yard's commitment to innovation and guest comfort, underscoring the multifaceted lifestyle Seven offers.
The flybridge itself epitomizes the Perini Navi experience. Uncluttered and expansive, it offers uninterrupted views of the seascape, making it an ideal perch for guests to witness the yacht's prowess under sail or to soak in the sun on the built-in sunpads. This area is a true sanctuary where guests can revel in the pleasure of the open sea, undisturbed.
Seven's exterior lighting is an artistic achievement in itself, providing more than mere illumination. It enhances the yacht's architectural features, creating an ambience that is both welcoming and dramatic. The lighting plan, carefully curated by experts, plays a significant role in defining the yacht's aesthetic, from the warmth of the strip lighting to the precision of the side lighting.
The commitment to guest safety is evident in the design of Seven's sail-handling system. The revolutionary captive winches, a hallmark of Perini Navi's innovative spirit, ensure that all sails, including staysails and the reacher, can be managed effortlessly and safely, keeping guests out of harm's way during maneuvers.
Interior Design
The interior of Seven represents a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetic elegance, designed to accommodate the diverse needs of a multigenerational family. With the insightful guidance of architect Dante Benini, Seven's design philosophy places a strong emphasis on creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere, achieved through the extensive use of pale sycamore in the joinery, which establishes a flowing consistency throughout the vessel. This choice of wood, along with a carefully considered palette of similar tones, sets a serene and refined backdrop to life on board.
The exquisite craftsmanship of Yachtline is on full display as they bring to life the minimalist interior that echoes the award-winning design seen on Sybaris. This stylish and understated décor is further enhanced by the strategic use of lighting, meticulously engineered by Videoworks, to accentuate the contours of the furniture and create an inviting ambience that shifts with the mood and setting.
Aboard Seven, the sense of luxury is palpable in the details. The main saloon captivates with its unique overhead feature—a black glass oval suspended in the air, representing a horizontal section of the yacht's hull submerged in water. This artistic element, coupled with LED strips that mimic the form of the keel and booms, introduces an industrial chic aesthetic that complements the yacht's maritime character.
Accommodation
Seven offers six luxuriously appointed double cabins situated on the lower deck, each meticulously crafted to provide an intimate and serene haven for the voyager. Two of these cabins are mirror-image owner suites, showing the yacht's commitment to delivering unparalleled comfort and privacy.
The use of pale sycamore for the joinery creates a consistent, flowing aesthetic throughout the cabins, with soft tones and subtle textures inviting guests to unwind in a space that feels both expansive and cozy. Moreover, the craftsmanship shines through in every detail, from the beautifully executed wall panelling to the meticulously double-stitched leatherwork.
The cabins are nearly equal in size and amenities, ensuring that every guest experiences the same level of luxury and refinement. The attention to detail extends to the lighting design, which employs a combination of warm and cool tones to enhance the ambiance and complement the interior design. Soft, short curtains provide a playful contrast to the tailored surfaces, while sheer Roman blinds ensure privacy and light control.
The owner suites are a particular highlight, featuring upholstered bed frames, plush pillows, cashmere blankets, and inviting ottomans. These accents, along with velvety rugs, amplify the theme of subtle tone variations that grace the walls and overheads. The influence of Benini's long-standing collaboration with Giorgio Armani is evident in the sophisticated and timeless style that permeates the entire accommodation area.
While Seven's guest accommodation is the epitome of luxury and elegance, crew comfort has not been overlooked. The yacht is designed to ensure that the dedicated team of up to 11 crew, who make each voyage seamless and memorable also enjoy well-appointed quarters that reflect the overall high standards of the vessel.
Performance & Capabilities
Seven features two Panamax aluminum masts adorned with carbon fiber rigging, booms, and spreaders. These elements support a total sail plan exceeding 2,000 square meters, allowing Seven to harness the wind's power effectively. The yacht is also uniquely outfitted with captive winches for every sail, a feature that underscores the vessel's smooth sailing capabilities, as well as the safety and ease with which she can be operated.
Seven is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery that ensures reliability and power while traversing the open seas. At the heart of her mechanical prowess lies twin diesel MTU (8V 2000 M72) 966hp engines running at 2250rpm that power her through the water with grace and efficiency when not under sail. Seven is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.
Amenities
The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down.
