Fantasea is a 31.4m motor yacht for sale delivered by Taiwanese shipyard Horizon in 2007. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Horizon, while JC Espinosa is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.56m beam and a 1.93m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 157 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The raked bow contributes to both the Fantasea's aesthetic appeal and its navigational efficiency, cutting through water with reduced resistance. The deck is finished with teak, offering a traditional and practical surface that is both visually appealing and functional for outdoor activities. The white hull and superstructure present a clean and classic look, while black accents on the boot top and below the waterline add contrast.

The sundeck is a key feature, offering multiple areas for different activities. A six-person jacuzzi has been added, replacing previous seating arrangements, providing a relaxing spot with a view. The overhead has been painted glossy white, enhancing natural light reflection, which brightens the space, making it ideal for dining.

The sundeck also includes a Solaris grill, mounted on a custom bracket that allows the door to the stairs to slide underneath, optimizing space. There are six large chairs for relaxation, and bar stools that can be neatly tucked away when not in use. The helm on the sundeck gives the captain a clear view of both the guests and the foredeck, ensuring safety and convenience.

The aft deck features a large wooden dining table, perfect for outdoor meals and socializing. This area is equipped with three security cameras, providing added peace of mind. The swim platform, a significant investment, serves multiple purposes: it allows the storage of jet skis or a tender, facilitates easy boarding and disembarking, and offers a safe way to enter and exit the water.

Interior Design

The main salon features high gloss cherry wood combined with maple burl accents, creating a visually pleasing environment. The formal dining table seats eight and is complemented by a custom beveled mirror on the overhead, enhancing the sense of space and light in the room.

Transitioning to the galley, the space is designed for both utility and comfort. It is equipped with modern appliances and a considerable amount of workspace. The new appliances and ample room make the galley a practical area for meal preparation and family gatherings. The side access doors on both the port and starboard sides provide easy movement to the foredeck and improve ventilation, contributing to a comfortable atmosphere.

The helm stations are equipped with contemporary navigation and communication systems. The main helm features a new Garmin display and controls for the bow and stern thrusters, as well as dual radars. The upper helm offers a vantage point that allows for effective monitoring of both the guests and the foredeck.

Accommodation

Fantasea offers spacious accommodations for up to six guests in three cabins. The Master stateroom is centered around a king-size bed, offering a great vantage point for watching the brand-new TV. The room is complemented by a settee, providing ample space to sit and relax. The ensuite bathroom retains its original fittings but remains in pristine condition, emphasizing the meticulous maintenance of the yacht.

The second stateroom, located on the port side, features a queen-size bed. It offers double entry doors, ensuring easy access and a sense of spaciousness. The ensuite bathroom is conveniently located just forward of the bed. The third stateroom is also quite generous in size, featuring another king-size bed. It offers significant headroom and includes a large settee, enhancing the room's functionality and comfort.

She is also capable of carrying up to four crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 1,650hp engines, motor yacht Fantasea is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
