Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.45m beam and a 3.4m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,021 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2020. This was the second yacht built on the 57Steel design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in July 2023.

Exterior Design

A highlight of Virtuosity's outdoor features is the glass-bottomed pool located aft on the Main Deck. This design choice not only serves as an aesthetic focal point but also introduces a play of light into the Beach Area below. Adjacent to the pool, the deck area transitions smoothly into the main salon, a space that emphasizes connection with the outside environment through full-height windows.

The Upper Deck outdoor space serves as a private retreat for relaxation and social gatherings. It includes sun loungers and a dining area with a striking marble-topped table designed by Piero Lissoni, supported by a sculptural carbon fiber base. The sense of exclusivity on this deck is further heightened by privacy gates that allow the owner to enjoy the area and the private swimming pool situated at the bow with discretion.

On the Bridge Deck, the traditional technical space is reimagined to include a versatile interior that can transform into a DJ area or a private lounge. The outdoor section of this deck also accommodates a living and dining area, providing additional space for guest entertainment.

The yacht's Beach Area, located on the Lower Deck, expands through unfolding side and aft platforms to offer 150 square meters dedicated to leisure activities. This space houses a gym, hammam, sauna, and wet bar, all benefiting from natural light filtering through the pool's glass floor above.

Virtuosity's profile, deck usage, and outdoor amenities reflect the evolving preferences of yacht owners who prioritize both aesthetics and practicality.

Interior Design

The yacht's interior palette is characterized by neutral tones and the use of natural materials. A striking feature aboard Virtuosity is the resin floor, a novel material choice in the yachting industry. Its inclusion required innovative alterations to traditional yacht construction processes. The furnishings and finishes throughout the yacht maintain a professional and understated sophistication, ensuring the focus remains on the quality of craftsmanship and the natural beauty of the materials used.

Lighting aboard Virtuosity is not merely functional but is integral to the yacht's ambiance. The central staircase, a focal point within the yacht, is crowned by a skylight, which allows natural light to cascade through transparent glass, creating dynamic shades and colors that animate the interior spaces. Full-height windows in living areas ensure a consistent and vibrant interplay between natural and artificial light, enhancing the connection with the outdoor environment.

The main salon demonstrates the yacht's ability to adapt to different occasions, featuring a double-sided sofa that serves as both a living space and a dining area when transformed. This layout offers a practical solution for hosting, without compromising on the yacht's professional aesthetic. The aft of the Upper Deck presents an outdoor dining area, where occupants can enjoy meals with a view, anchored by a custom-designed table by Piero Lissoni, combining marble and sculptural carbon fiber elements.

Virtuosity's helm, located on the dedicated Bridge Deck, is an exercise in practicality and sophistication. The design ensures all operational controls and navigational instruments are arranged in a logical, accessible manner, reflecting the yacht's professional tone. The helm station is equipped to meet the highest standards of maritime operation, offering both precision and ease of control to the captain and crew.

Accommodation

Virtuosity accommodates up to 12 guests within six suites, which are fashioned to cater to the diverse preferences of its clientele.

The yacht's unique layout features two owner's cabins, which are a testament to Sanlorenzo's commitment to innovative design. The main owner's suite, located on the Main Deck, spans the full beam of the yacht, offering a spacious and private retreat. The second owner's suite on the Upper Deck provides equally luxurious amenities and personal space, ensuring that the owner's experience aboard Virtuosity is nothing short of exceptional.

In addition to the owner's accommodations, Virtuosity houses two VIP cabins on the Lower Deck, each with its own distinctive character—one with walk-in wardrobes and the other with external wardrobes. Moreover, there are two flexible guest cabins on the same deck, designed to convert from twin to double configurations, allowing for versatile sleeping arrangements to suit the needs of guests.

Complementing the guest accommodation, Virtuosity is equipped to carry up to 12 crew members. The crew quarters are designed to ensure that the team can provide the highest level of service while enjoying their own dedicated space on board. The crew accommodation is located on the Lower Deck forward, maintaining a separate circulation from guest areas to preserve privacy for both guests and crew.

Performance & Capabilities

Virtuosity's propulsion system comprises twin diesel Caterpillar (3512C) engines, each capable of generating 2,400 horsepower. This robust machinery equips Virtuosity to achieve a maximum speed of 16 knots. She can cruise comfortably at a consistent pace of 12 knots, allowing for smooth and efficient voyaging across vast stretches of ocean.

With substantial fuel storage, Virtuosity has an impressive range. Her fuel capacity of 75,000 liters affords her a maximum cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles when maintaining an economical speed of 11 knots. Such capabilities ensure that she can undertake extended voyages with ease, providing her guests with the opportunity to explore remote destinations without the frequent need to refuel.

The yacht's design also accommodates a hybrid propulsion option, aligning with the contemporary focus on eco-responsibility. This alternative system underscores a commitment to sustainability without compromising the yacht's performance standards.

Amenities

The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker.
