Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 13.1m beam and a 3.4m draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 1,600 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.

Construction started in late 2015. Launched in April 2019 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in June 2019.

Exterior Design

One of the most striking features of Attila's exterior design is the 78-square-meter beach club. Equipped with two fold-down balconies, a hammam, and a sauna, the beach club is an oasis of relaxation and entertainment. This space seamlessly connects to the main deck's outdoor area, which features a five-meter-long swimming pool. The pool, with its glass bottom, provides dappled sunlight into the beach club below, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and water.

Continuing with the theme of outdoor enjoyment, the yacht also features a touch-and-go helipad on the bow, which doubles as an extra sundeck. This ingenious use of space ensures that guests can make the most of their time onboard Attila.

The yacht's exterior is also home to multiple social areas. From the upper saloon spa pool to the beach club balconies, every inch of the yacht is designed to provide an unparalleled outdoor experience. Despite the emphasis on expansive interior space, the exterior of Attila offers a variety of options for relaxation, entertainment, and enjoyment of the open sea.

Attila is a testament to the successful collaboration between the owner and the design team. Every detail, from the choice of materials to the placement of artwork, has been meticulously planned.

Interior Design

Influenced by the owner's desire for a "modern South American" style, Attila's interior design is a blend of sophistication and warmth. The use of natural materials is prevalent throughout, with fine nubuck leathers, an assortment of six marbles, and warm teak for the stairs and floors. The dominant color palette comprises white, grey, and brown, creating a soothing and elegant atmosphere.

A unique feature of the interior design is the strategic use of polished steel bands. These bands not only separate materials but also define breaks between different areas, adding a sense of structure and continuity. The headboard of the owner's bed boasts a dash of crocodile hide, adding an exotic touch to the room. Meanwhile, lacquered panels overhead in the corridors and wallpaper in other areas add texture and visual interest.

The furniture, mostly sourced from renowned Italian brands such as Baxter, Minotti, and Maxalto, adds to the yacht's luxurious ambiance. A selection of the furniture, including the dining tables, were custom-designed by Francesco Paszkowski, ensuring every piece perfectly fits the aesthetic and function of each space.

Art onboard Attila reflects a playful yet thoughtful vibe. A golden gorilla in the upper saloon keeps a watchful eye over diners, adding a touch of whimsy, while two bronze casts by Milan sculptor Matteo Pugliese illustrate a man's journey through a wall, providing a thought-provoking centerpiece in the main atrium.

Above the main dining table, a series of golden lily leaves unfurl from a fine copper piping stem, each tipped with a glowing LED. This artistic lighting fixture by Catellani & Smith adds a delicate and unique touch to the dining area. All artwork onboard has been carefully chosen by the owner and sourced by Paszkowski, creating a truly personalized touch.

Accommodation

Attila can comfortably host up to 12 guests, with accommodation options that are both expansive and thoughtfully designed. These include an owner's deck which features a cabin with panoramic views and direct access to a private pool on the foredeck. This deck also includes a private lounge and aft deck, providing the owner with ample personal space.

The main deck is home to five guest suites, offering spacious and well-appointed accommodation for guests. The suites are designed with an emphasis on luxury and comfort, ensuring that guests will enjoy their stay on Attila.

Additionally, the yacht has been designed to accommodate up to 18 crew and staff, ensuring that guests' every need can be attended to. The crew quarters are not only functional but also comfortable, featuring 18 berths and access to a dedicated multimedia room on the tank deck. The galleys and pantries have been designed with the crew's comfort in mind, featuring well-equipped spaces that are pleasant to work in.

Performance & Capabilities

Attila is powered by two diesel Caterpillar 3516C DITA engines, each producing a maximum power of 2,000 kW at 1,600 rpm. This powerful engine setup enables the yacht to achieve a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The yacht's fuel capacity of approximately 160,000 liters ensures a substantial range, allowing for long-distance travel without the need for frequent refueling stops.

Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Attila embodies strength and durability. The yacht is equipped with a pair of electric-driven fin stabilizers at anchor and underway, which provide optimal comfort and stability. This stabilization system significantly reduces roll motion effect, resulting in a smoother and more enjoyable cruising experience.

Attila's mechanical capabilities extend beyond its engine and stabilizers. The yacht features an advanced navigation system, ensuring safe and efficient voyages. The integrated system includes a radar, GPS, echo sounder, and an autopilot system, all of which contribute to easy and accurate navigation.

The yacht also boasts a state-of-the-art hydraulic bow thruster, which provides improved maneuverability, particularly in tighter docking situations. This feature is especially beneficial when navigating in congested marinas or during challenging weather conditions.

Attila's mechanical design is not only about power and performance, but also about convenience and efficiency. The yacht is equipped with a sophisticated air conditioning system that ensures a comfortable onboard climate regardless of the external weather conditions. The water-making system can produce fresh water from the sea, providing a consistent supply of water for various onboard uses.

Attila's exterior design reflects a contemporary and sober aesthetic. The yacht's sleek and unadorned lines, combined with its innovative features and vast outdoor spaces, provide a visual appeal that is both timeless and forward-looking.
