Showcasing the true capabilities of explorer yachts, 'Ocean Dreamwalker III' has been captured exploring the wild landscapes of Alaska.
The Sanlorenzo-built Explorer 500 model was launched in 2018 and is the largest yacht in its EXP series. She is also the first hull in the 500EXP series with E-motion electric propulsion.
Ocean Dreamwalker III’s Owner has certainly made the best use of its 4,000nm range. The powerful 47m (154ft) vessel has been on an extended journey that started in Florida and took her through the Panama Canal, up the East Coast of the USA before arriving in the breathtaking surroundings of Alaska.
The photos show her making use of the spacious aft deck helipad, she was the first superyacht to come out of the yard fitted with a helicopter landing pad, and the variety of tenders and toys the expedition yacht can accommodate.
With design from Francesco Pazskowski, the Explorer 500 model is an evolution of Sanlorenzo’s 460 EXP yacht and features an elongated aft deck, extra toy storage and more rugged exterior styling.
She also has all the trappings associated with a luxury superyacht. She features a lower deck beach club, heating swimming pool, fold-down balconies in the Owner’s suite and a skylounge with a long dining table for enjoying meals whilst taking in the views from its elevated position.
Explorer yachts are highly specialized vessels that can remain self-contained for long periods of time and transport their guests to parts of the world that would otherwise not be accessible by many superyachts.
