Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 14m (45.9ft) beam and a 4.9m (16ft) draft. The yacht is built over five decks with an internal volume of 1,194 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a helipad.
She was delivered to her owners in May 2019.
Exterior Design
Voyager, originally launched as a 63m (206.6ft) commercial supply ship, underwent a substantial refit, over three years, to transform into a 91.4m (299.8ft) explorer yacht. The comprehensive changes include the addition of 300 tonnes of new steel superstructure, an extensive mid-body extension, and the installation of a new bathing platform and raised helipad aft. These alterations have rendered her almost unrecognizable from her former self, and, at the time, was the largest superyacht conversion ever done in the USA.
Spanning across five decks, Voyager proudly showcases an enhanced and expanded profile. A blunt nose presides over the raked bow, positioned ahead of the shorter foredeck. The relocation of the helipad and tender stowage to the aft emphasizes utilitarian functionality over stylistic elements.
Voyager's high-sided structure is complemented by a towering communication and navigation mast. The decks are vertically aligned, featuring occasional large windows strategically placed to welcome natural light into the interior spaces. Forward, angles and curves on the deck tiers introduce a captivating visual element, contributing to Voyager's distinctive and compelling design.
Interior Design
The yacht Voyager is intensely private, and no authorized interior photographs are available.
Accommodation
It is understood that 12 guests are accommodated onboard. Although public details are scarce, 70 crew are believed to be onboard for operational effectiveness and guest service.
Performance & Capabilities
A key feature of Voyager is the comprehensive oversight provided to the captain through more than 3,000 specially designed sensors. These sensors cover a wide range of activities, from monitoring doors opening to advanced infrared video surveillance. This extensive sensor network enables remote control of the entire engine room and facilitates monitoring of various activities throughout the vessel. Access points are strategically placed, allowing monitoring of navigation, security, radar, engines, generators, power distribution, fuel, water, and more from anywhere on the yacht.
Leisure & Entertainment
Voyager is equipped with a dedicated deep dive center, fulfilling one of the primary roles of this yacht.
