The 50m Aluminium Semi-Displacement is built in the Netherlands by Heesen with a multi-award winning international design team, exterior styling by Omega Architects from the Netherlands and interior design by Italy's Cristiano Gatto Design. The 49.98m/164' superyacht built from aluminium can sleep up to twelve guests in six cabins. Available with only one option for inboard engines.
The models in this range have been in production for almost 10 years, so you can be assured that each 5000 Aluminium is built on a proven platform of success. Production of the first generation Heesen 5000 started in 2010 and ran for over 8 years, during which time it won almost 5 awards. The second and latest generation Heesen 50m Aluminium Semi-Displacement was announced in 2018.
Performance
The latest generation can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 21 knots via its twin 3,433hp MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines. In terms of range, the Heesen 50m Aluminium Semi-Displacement has a standard range of 3,100 nautical miles (nm).
