50m ALP delivered by Heesen Yachts prior to maiden voyage

With nearly 380 square meters of interiors and an expansive sundeck, ALP is ready for entertaining.

Heesen Yachts has successfully delivered hull YN 20350, also known as ALP, in Hellevoetsluis, South Holland. ALP has been docked here after completing rigorous sea trials in the North Sea and is now preparing for her maiden voyage to the Mediterranean.

ALP is part of Heesen’s 50m (164ft) semi-displacement series. The yacht's sporty exterior, designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, reflects its top speed of 23 knots and offers a blend of fast cruising, comfort, and luxury, all enhanced by state-of-the-art technology. The vessel’s performance results from clever engineering, precise weight calculations, and an aluminum construction.

Cristiano Gatto’s team, in collaboration with Heesen’s in-house engineers, crafted a luxurious interior tailored to ALP’s owners’ preferences. The yacht’s contemporary yet comfortable design spans nearly 380 square meters. Heesen Interiors, the shipyard’s cabinet-making company based in Winterswijk, in the Netherlands also accommodated last-minute requests to personalize the interior furniture. The yacht accommodates 12 guests in five staterooms and houses nine crew members in five cabins.

Moving outside, ALP’s exterior spaces are designed for entertaining guests. The expansive sundeck, partially protected by a hardtop, features a whirlpool surrounded by sun pads aft, a fully equipped bar and dining area, and a seating area forward.

The wheelhouse deck aft terrace is ideal for al fresco dining, connecting with the sky lounge through flush sliding doors to create a vast indoor-outdoor area. The main deck aft boasts raised sun pads serviced by an adjacent bar, ensuring guest privacy when docked stern-to in a marina. This design also allows for a full-height beach club below. When the transom door is open, it connects with the beach club, creating a relaxing space by the sea.

Thanks to its shallow draft of 2.1m (6.8ft), ALP is well-suited for exploring the waters of the Bahamas, and its 50m (164ft) length makes entering Mediterranean ports such as Portofino and Saint Tropez a breeze.
