Azimut Yachts storm Miami Boat Show with fleet of 18 yachts

Italian shipyard Azimut Yachts prepare to make a big impact for Italian yachting as they bring no less than 18 yacht models for sale to the Miami Yacht Show and Miami Boat Show.

Exhibiting from February 13-17 at One Herald Plaza and Virginia Key, Azimut will be showcasing many of their bestsellers, in addition to three US premieres and one highly anticipated world debut.

As the Miami show prepares to open its doors in a brand new location of One Herald Plaza, situated between the Sea Isle Marina and MacArthur causeways, Azimut add to the building anticipation of the new look show as the Verve 47 readies for its international debut.

Powered by a quad of outboard engines, totalling 1,800hp, the Verve 47 promises a top speed of 50 knots and features all the signature details you would expect from an Azimut model.

Azimut Yachts is one of the few global yachting brands with a strong presence in the USA. Bearing this in mind, we wanted to create a boat that has a special affinity with the US market (and why we decided to present the new model in Miami), but which also has Italian appeal. The result is Verve 47, a yacht designed to appeal to owners who love speed, sportiness and excitement, but who also appreciate elegance and fine design.

Measuring 14.5m, the Verve 47 is described as an unusual open vessel which is ideal for owners who seek an adrenaline fuelled experience.

With collaborative designwork from the head designer for Azimut Yachts, Francesco Struglia and hull designer Michael Peters, the new vessel hosts all the latest innovative solutions and boasts new generation joystick control.

In addition to the international debut of the Verve 47, Azimut shall also be showcasing three US debuts including the Flybridge 78.

Standing at 23.6m, the flagship of the Fly range is the first Flybridge from Azimut to be fitted with triple Volvo IPS propulsion units. Included as part of the Carbon-Tech generation, designs by Alberto Mancini and Achille Salvagni are sophisticated and versatile making the Fly 78 a highly appealing attribute to the fleet.

As well as the 78, Azimut will also have the 50, 55, 60, 66 and 72 Flybridge models on display throughout the duration of the show.

From the S collection there will be two show debuts which are the S6 Sportfly and the S8.

As a high tech and adrenaline fuelled range, the S collection provides nothing but top of the range innovations which are fast, stylish and promise nothing but an exciting ride. Building on the previous excitement of the S6 Coupe model, the Sportfly offers an equally exceptional alternative.

The four-cabin S8 is also to make its first appearance at the show, with interiors by Francesco Guida the Carbon Tech vessel features a galley on an intermediate deck and a Pivoting Platform Expander system which allows easy extension of the swim platform.

In addition to the local debuts, Azimut will also showcase the Verve 40, S7, Atlantis 45 and 51Magellano 66 and Grande Metris 25, 27 and 32.
