The design of the 37m (121ft) displacement yacht draws its inspiration and its name, Motopanfilo, from the large motor yachts of the early 1960s that became synonymous with glamour and royalty.
Benetti has worked with Francesco Struglia on the exterior design and Lazzarini Pickering on the interiors to create a yacht with modern technology and techniques, but with a strong nod to the heritage and style of the Motopanfilo boats of the 1960s.
Expanding on the volume of its 1960s predecessors, Franceso Struglia has revisited the original midship construction elements that linked the hull and superstructure and combined them into one single harmonious feature. With clean-cut lines and tapering forms, the Motopanfilo retains the elegance of yachts of years gone by.

Lazzarini Pickering set out with a clear vision in mind for the interior and exterior spaces, and that was to create a truly nautical experience, to give the Motopanfilo the feel of a boat rather than an apartment.
The all-fiberglass Benetti Motopanfilo features liberal use of wood, with the wooden walls of yesteryear being replaced almost completely by panes of glass that create a sense of spaciousness and openness.
This feeling of space is amplified by the use of mirrored surfaces, which also bring the sea and the sky into the interior spaces. Touches of white and blue coloring add to the nautical feeling, with the interiors feeling light and airy throughout.
A slightly more retro feeling exudes in the beach club, complete with a fabric canopy that opens up to provide ample shade on the water’s edge.

Whilst an observation deck can be found in prime position atop the yacht and is the spot for soaking up the sun by day or relaxing under the stars at night.
Five cabins provide accommodation for ten guests with the Owner’s suite located in the bow of the main deck and the four guest cabins, all able to accommodate double beds, can be found on the lower decks.
A range of engine options are available, with a maximum speed of between 16 and 18 knots and a range of 3,800nm at 10 knots.
Motopanfilo is an Italian word that was used in the early 1960s to denote the large motoryachts that quickly became status symbols for the rich and famous and were synonymous with glamour and the jetset lifestyle.
Benetti was one of the first shipyards to produce these yachts, launching models such as the Delfino, the Gabbiano and the Mediterraneo with clients ranging from Prince Rainier of Monaco to David Bowie.
Benetti has since established itself as one of the leading names in the superyacht world and is constantly unveiling new designs and ideas. Their portfolio includes semi-custom ranges such as the Oasis Class, custom platform built yachts such as the B.Now range and fully custom yachts.
