Eco-Friendly Solutions Take the Spotlight
Sustainability once again took centre stage at Boot Düsseldorf 2025, with many exhibitors highlighting eco-friendly technologies and materials. The Blue Innovation Dock—a feature introduced in 2023—returned this year and drew significant attention.
Hall 10 featured a dedicated area for sustainable water sports technologies, where companies committed to water and climate protection shared insights into preserving marine environments. Meanwhile, the “Love Your Ocean” initiative, in collaboration with over 75 partners, hosted interactive exhibits in Hall 11, fostering environmental awareness among attendees, including children. Boot Director Petros Michelidakis praised the initiative as a platform demonstrating current efforts across industry, science, and society to protect the ocean and climate.
The Ocean Tribute Award 2025 further celebrated marine conservation excellence by recognising innovative projects and organisations dedicated to preserving the oceans.
Sustainability was also front and centre at exhibitor displays. Greenline Yachts showcased its eco-conscious motor yachts, while the Beneteau Group introduced its “Island Cruising” concept, a yacht designed to meet modern aspirations with a reduced environmental footprint.
These efforts position Boot Düsseldorf as a platform for exploring sustainable solutions in boating.
