What to expect at Cannes Yachting Festival 2022
Cannes is well known for hosting an eyebrow-raising number of yachts at every edition, however, newcomers have no need to feel daunted by the sheer size of the fleet.
Every zone is clearly defined and simple to navigate, ensuring every visitor has seamless access to each display and exhibitor, for an easy and enjoyable experience at the annual event.
Divided between two locations, Vieux Port and Port Canto, there's complimentary transport for ticket holders between the separate displays or a pleasurable walk along the famous La Croisette.
Vieux Port is home to the motor yachts and what a display it is. Many of the biggest names in the industry can be seen here, often with a considerable fleet of their newest and most popular models. Names such as Princess, Sunseeker, Benetti and Azimut are regulars at Cannes and there's often a chance to arrange sea trials on a selection of their esteemed yachts.
Port Canto is home to one of the largest displays of sailing boats at any yachting event. Once again there is easy maneuverability around the exhibits, as well as great views of the old town and opportunities to snap up some great preowned yachts for sale.
Beyond the yachts
Any yacht show would not be complete without a selection of other attractions. Cannes offers a premium collection of side events and attractions including the Luxury Gallery, situated within the Palais des Festivals, where visitors have the opportunity to acquire high-end fashion, jewelry, nautical equipment and numerous relatable services.
The toy area at Port Canto is always a fun attraction to visit, view the latest gadgets and accessories for adrenaline-pumped sessions on the sea with jet skateboards, longboards, jet skis and more on display.
A long established side show for the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Concours d'Élegance is an ideal chance to witness the history of yachting unfold before you during a procession of vintage and modern-day yachts up to 12m (39.5ft).
