CL Yachts has announced more details about its latest flybridge yacht, the CLB65.
‘Built for uncompromising adventure’ according to the shipyard, the 19.7m (64.6ft) motor yacht was formally unveiled at the Palm Beach Boat Show last month and is set to launch by the end of 2021.
The clean, fluid exterior lines are the work of CL Yacht’s in-house team, whilst the modern and serene interiors which match natural wood tones with modern furnishings are penned by Carmen. Howard Apollonio and marine structural engineers Gurit are responsible for the naval architecture.
The CLB65 offers a multitude of lounging areas in her sub-20m (65.6ft) frame with the beach platform, sunpad laden foredeck and expansive fly deck all offering suitable spots for relaxation.
The main salon feels the benefit of expansive windows that offer plenty of natural light and panoramic views and is lined with plush sofas. The galley is located between the aft deck and the salon and features plenty of counter space, generous storage and every kitchen necessity required.
She can sleep six guests across three staterooms. The Owner can take advantage of the full-beam master stateroom with king-size bed, whilst there is also s spacious VIP cabin.
The first CLB65 will be built with twin Volvo IPS1050 pods and her resin-infused composite hull will offer a high strength-to-weight ratio and improved fuel efficiency.
The CL Yachts brand was only formally launched in 2019 however it is part of Cheoy Lee shipyards, one of the oldest shipbuilders in Hong Kong. In the 1970s Cheoy Lee was one of the first shipyards to research vacuum-bagging and foam-coring construction techniques, a process that is now common practice.
