Columbus Yachts has unveiled the two models that will complete its new Atlantique line, the Atlantique 37 and the Atlantique 55.
Both models follow the philosophy of the line, with hull silhouettes recalling the sailing yachts of bygone days and clean and elegant external lines with a touch of sportiness. They join the inaugural model, the Atlantique 43, in the line which the shipyard claims is dedicated to ‘elegance and versatility’.
As with the Atlantique 43, Columbus has collaborated with Hot Lab Design Studio on the interiors and exteriors for the new models. Both also feature the same distinctive sailboat-style stern, with a swimming pool that sits just 50cm above the water, that graces the Atlantique 43.
The flagship 55m (180ft) Atlantique 55 sports a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and a four-deck layout, with the main deck available in two configurations. Both have the Owner cabin forward, with the first version having a gym with a private balcony and the second version adding a fifth VIP cabin and a private balcony in the Owner cabin. Below deck are four double cabins.
Elsewhere the cockpit is spread over three levels, and includes a large pool, a living area with C-shaped sofa and coffee table and a bar. A second pool can be found on the sundeck, whilst a forward garage provides space for tenders and jet skis.
The 37m (121ft) Atlantique 37 features two dining areas, one outdoor on the main deck and one on the upper deck, and has a five-cabin layout. Four double cabins can be found below deck, with the Owner’s cabin on the main deck forward. She also has space for a 4.45m (14.6ft) tender, a 3.25m (10.6ft) tender and a rescue boat. Twin MAN 1400hp engines give a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.
Columbus Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, unveiled its new Atlantique line in April, rolling out the new three yacht series with the Atlantique 43. In June the yard revealed it had sold the first Atlantique 43 to a European client, with the inaugural hull expected to be delivered in 2023.
The yard was established in 2008, delivering its largest superyacht to date, 80m (262ft) DRAGON in 2019. It also recently revealed its 50m (164ft) ‘Project Lady’ will use cutting-edge technology to remove virus and bacteria from the airflow and to sanitize the yacht.
