Atlantis and 55 Fly make their premiere in Germany
Making their world debut at Boot Dusseldorf in 2018, the Azimut Fly 55 and Atlantis 51 will be appearing side by side at the Azimut stand for the duration of the anticipated European show.
With design work from familiar collaborators for the Italian brand, the new vessels are already making their mark on the pre existing fleet and preparing the shipyard for more bookings.
Atlantis 51
Designed by Marco Biaggi and Filippo Salvetti from Neo Design, the Atlantis 51 has a sporty feel to it with aggressive lines and a streamlined finish. The open layout of the vessel is spacious for guests thanks to the generous beam of 4.5 metres. Exterior space is plentiful and ideal for guests who want to spend most of their time outside. A large open air lounge dominates the main deck with sun lounging areas both fore and aft. Al fresco dining is also an option thanks to the innovative solutions onboard, which includes a transforming C shaped sofa.
Interiors speak in large volumes, just like the exteriors. Designed by Biaggi and Salvetti, the defining feature of the interiors is the three cabin layout. Still leaving space for a big dinette and accompanying galley, the cabins are plush and comfortable for all guests staying onboard.
The owner's cabin in the bow is highlighted by an abundance of natural light thanks to the windows along the sides and ceiling. A vanity table and bookcase are also situated inside. The second cabin, a VIP cabin, is designed to be more like a second owner's cabin with plenty of storage space, natural light and a vanity table. The flexible VIP cabin hosts a double bed which can be split into twins with the aid of running tracks. The last cabin onboard has a bunkbed set up with plenty of space to move around the cabin.
The Atlantis 51 has top speeds of 35 knots with a cruising speed of 32 knots.
Fly 55
In a vessel which combines sleek lines with a cosy interior, the Fly 55 boasts incredible designs thanks to the long term Azimut collaborators Stefano Righini and Achille Salvagni.
The unusually large flybridge is a major factor of the new vessel, extending further out to the stern, which results in guests being able to enjoy an outdoor living area sheltered from prying eyes. The main deck also boasts exterior living with a comfortable sun lounging in the bow. Covered by an extendable bimini, guests can soak up the sun or shelter in the shade with cocktails as they take in the stunning views.
Interiors of the Fly 55 sport an impressive collection of materials including grey zebrawood, dark oak, glossy black lacquer, bronze and steel inserts. Sharp edges are completely redundant in the vessel with curves and smooth lines everywhere.
The main deck has an ideal layout for pure relaxation with a specially designed lobby area, a galley near the entrance and a comfortable lounge with impeccable sea views. Guests can easily access all areas of the vessel from here.
Down on the lower deck there are three cabins to accommodate staying guests. In the bow area, the VIP cabin resides with a roomy double bed, whereas a spacious and well lit full beam owner's cabin is situated in the middle of the yacht. Between the two is a third cabin which has twin beds.
The Azimut Fly 55 can reach top speeds of 31 knots.
