Lighting up the Yacht Club de Monaco last Friday, chart-topping eighties legends Duran Duran performed an intimate show for superyacht owners.
With the band rocking out on a floating pontoon stage, and a dinghy launch ramp transformed into a dance floor, Duran Duran put on a spectacle in the yachting capital last week.
Part of a private event hosted by Italian shipyard Ferretti, the show was filled to capacity, with over 500 fans gathered for the occasion.
No strangers to the yachting life, lead singer Simon Le Bon famously competed in the Whitbread Round The World Race back in 1985.
Working their way through their impressive back catalogue, the band played hits ranging from ‘Wild Boys’ to ‘A View to a Kill’, and the iconic ‘Hungry Like the Wolf’.
One of the most unique yachting events of the year, the Duran Duran performance in Monaco will certainly be remembered fondly
Following fan-favourite ‘Girls On Film’, and two encore songs, the band departed the stage and returned to their own superyacht.
