Italian builder Riva has unveiled details of its latest yacht, the 68’ Diable, claiming a strong focus on “elegance, sportiness and liveability’”.
The 20.7m (68ft) yacht draws on Riva’s strong heritage, and is based on the Riva Diable, which in turn drew inspiration from the Riva Superamerica hull.
The focus on liveability is demonstrated by a new hard top that serves the dual purpose of hiding the technical equipment from sight and protecting and sheltering the central part of the yacht which includes the main deck located dining area and helm station.
The cockpit provides further space for relaxing with two large sunpads and a dining area and automatically powered bimini that can be built into the hardtop. The 68’ Diable also features a sunroof with two-way opening mechanism.
Stepping inside, three lower deck cabins sleep six guests with the configuration made up of a centrally-positioned master cabin, a double cabin with single beds and a VIP cabin forward. There Is also a galley and dinette.
The yacht is set debut this summer and will join Riva’s fleet of Open yachts, which range from the 8.24m (27ft) ISEO to the 26.84m (88ft) 88 ‘Florida.
Riva has a rich history going back almost 200 years and has been part of the Ferretti Group since 2000. Prominently known for stylish sports and flybridge yachts, it announced the creation of a new line in steel superyachts in 2014.
