The highly anticipated Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) has opened its doors, and the 2024 edition promises to be one of the best yet, showcasing some of the world's largest yachts with three yachts over 100m in the show.
Celebrating its 33rd anniversary, MYS opened this morning in Port Hercule, Monaco. This year's event, taking place from September 25-28, showcases 117 superyachts and approximately 60 luxury tenders in the Dockside Area, in addition to 53 superyachts at anchor in the Bay of Monaco.
Notably, 2024 marks a significant increase in large yachts, with three superyachts exceeding 100m (328ft) in attendance, compared to just one — Lurssen's 115m (378ft) motor yacht AHPO — at MYS 2023.
Of these three, Lurssen’s 123m (404ft) superyacht GOLDEN ODYSSEY with its gigantic 7,690 Gross Tonnage (GT), has claimed the title of the largest and longest yacht to ever be at the show.
The two other superyachts over 100m that attendees should check out include 122m (400ft) yacht KISMET, one of the latest full-custom superyachts from Lurssen, and 112m (367ft) motor yacht RENAISSANCE built by Freire Shipyard.
In addition to the impressive lineup of motor yachts, MYS features over 560 exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and sustainable solutions. This presents a unique opportunity for show visitors to discover new advancements and connect with industry professionals who can help turn their yachting dreams into reality.
Monaco continues to be a favored destination for yachting enthusiasts, providing a glamorous and exclusive atmosphere where buyers and sellers can come together to discuss all things related to yacht tenders, boats, and superyachts.
