Regal Boats History & Heritage
Regal Marine Industries, founded by Paul and Carol Kuck in 1969, initially focused on creating a fleet of sports and ski boats.
The brand quickly gained popularity, leading to a relocation to larger facilities in Orlando, Florida, by 1971, allowing for range expansion and increased production.
Venturing into Europe, Regal became one of the most successful U.S. brands in the region, maintaining a strong presence with its diverse yacht designs. While retaining a robust sportsboat lineup, Regal elevated its status in the cruiser category, introducing smart, sleek, and accommodating entry-level sports yachts.
In 1995, Regal introduced the innovative FastTrac hull design, featuring a fast planing, deep Vee hull with a sculpted step amidships. This design aimed to enhance lift, reduce drag, and improve overall speed and performance. The success of the FastTrac design solidified Regal's reputation in the sporting arena, particularly in the 7m - 10m cruiser sector.
Regal's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in its family-oriented approach, extending into post-sales care. This dedication has earned Regal consistent recognition, with regular wins at the JD Power awards for customer satisfaction. As a family business, Regal maintains a close relationship with its community of owners, fostering a sense of trust and loyalty.
