On Deck

The Horizon CC115 feels massive for its length, packing in a lot of volume. Boarding is via a hi-lo platform at the back, with neat tables that lift up so you can sit at water level with a coffee or breakfast. The aft cockpit has a large dining area under a big overhang, providing plenty of shade.

The flybridge has a big hardtop with an opening section. There’s a hidden helm position that disappears when not in use. The bar area includes a sink, barbecue, fridge drawers, and ice makers. There’s a spacious eating and relaxing area at the back. Poles around the rear support a bimini if shade is needed. Up top are satellite domes, antennas, radar, and navigation lights.

Forward, there’s a wing station for manoeuvring. The foredeck has tiered sunbathing with a built-in projector and screen so people can lie back and watch a movie. A lower forward deck creates a tucked-away, private lounging space. Right at the bow, there’s a small seating area, anchor windlass under the floor, and cleats and fairleads.

Bulwarks are cut away beside the saloon’s floor-to-ceiling windows, so even when closed, the view out across the water remains clear.

Another wing station mirrors the first on the opposite side, by the bridge door.

Interior Accommodation

The interior has a minimalist, calming, zen-like feel. The owners designed it to be light and peaceful. TV screens retract from the ceiling and pivot down for movie-watching from either side of the saloon. A bar area includes a wine cooler, fridge, and ice maker.

Floor-to-ceiling sliding windows in the saloon open for fresh air and views. Artwork mirrors the yacht’s simple, calm aesthetic.

The galley is all stainless steel with lots of refrigeration and pantry space, in line with the ship’s size. Crew mess and laundry facilities are adjacent. The layout is connected well to crew areas and accommodation spaces.

A play area/cinema room is located near the guest accommodation. It has its own ensuite and could be used as a bedroom if needed. A door leads to the crew area, so it could be reinstated as a crew cabin for more capacity.

Owner Cabin

The owner's cabin is minimalist, relaxed, and mindful, matching the overall feel of the boat. Entry is through a walk-in wardrobe with invisible doors, keeping the clean look.

The ensuite bathroom is open-plan, with the toilet to the right, twin sinks in the middle, and a rainfall shower at the end. A dressing table faces large windows. Another big walk-in wardrobe sits nearby.

Guest Accommodation

Guest cabins continue the minimal theme. Each has a dressing table, drawers, wardrobes, and an ensuite with pocket doors for privacy.

There are two mirrored cabins with double beds, then two mirrored twin cabins with Pullman berths that drop down. Wardrobes are behind the beds, and each cabin has a dressing table, shower, and private toilet.

The play area/cinema room could be converted to a guest or crew cabin if needed.

Performance

The engine room houses two Caterpillar C-32A engines at 1,600hp each, giving a top speed of 17 knots. Cruising speed is 12 knots, with a range of around 800 nautical miles.

The space is large, with room to walk all around the machinery. It includes generators, a water maker, massive engine vents, a fire suppression system with a manual override, track digital stabilisation, and a power converter for dockside electricity.

Crew Accommodation

Two crew cabins are located forward, each with its own ensuite. Laundry facilities and a crew mess area are nearby, with plenty of refrigeration and pantry space.

A third crew cabin sits near the beach club level, with two beds, a separate heads and shower. Storage is tucked around the area. The play area/cinema room could be reinstated as a fourth crew cabin if needed.

There is a dedicated crew entrance, giving easy service access without needing to pass through guest areas.

In Summary

The Horizon CC115 is a big-volume yacht designed around a calming, minimalist interior, built to the owner's exact requirements. The clever use of space and thoughtful details, from the retracting saloon TVs to the forward-deck cinema, create a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere throughout.

The galley and crew areas are spacious and functional, supporting long trips with ease. Performance suits a semi-displacement cruising style, backed by reliable Caterpillar engines and stabilisation.
