On Deck

The cockpit area has an overhang and a small wet bar on one side. The flybridge has twin helm seats, a big hardtop, a vertical wheel, engine controls, thruster controls, a FLIR camera, and twin Garmin screens. There is also a seating area, refrigeration, a sink, and a large barbecue. A tender is positioned at the back with a crane for lifting.

Moving forward, the decks are easy to navigate with deep bulwarks. There are side doors and a Portuguese bridge with storage underneath. At the bow, there is additional seating, a hatch over the forward cabin, and an ultra anchor.

The saloon is spacious and includes a TV that rises from a concealed compartment, AV equipment, and plenty of storage. The galley has full-size appliances, including a dishwasher, a large sink, a hob, an oven, a microwave, and ample storage. There is an ice maker, and additional fridge and freezer space. The interior is solidly built with a high level of craftsmanship.

The helm station features Garmin screens, John Deere engine instrumentation, bow and stern thruster controls, stabilisation, and a FLIR camera. It has an upper helm as well, and the helm seat is of the same high quality as found on larger yachts.

Owner's Cabin

Located aft, the owner’s cabin has a large amount of storage, including a walk-in wardrobe and additional engineering access. The blinds have a sleek, Japanese-inspired design. There is a dressing table with AV equipment on the wall, more storage, and a stool that swings out. The ensuite includes a sink, toilet, and shower, with a decent footprint for a boat of this size. Laundry facilities are positioned nearby.

Guest Accommodation

There are three cabins and two heads. The third cabin, positioned to one side, has a big hanging locker, vented storage, opening windows, and access to the day head. The forward VIP guest cabin has a hanging locker, overhead hatch, and ensuite access to the shared day head, which includes a toilet, sink and a shower.

The engine room is compact but well laid out. It houses twin John Deere 6135 engines with 750 horsepower each, providing a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 8.5 knots, offering a range of over 1000 nautical miles. There are twin generators, a track stabilisation system, a camera system, and a Victron battery charging system with inverters. A Glenn ending system manages the shore power cable. A lazarette area contains a water maker and additional storage.

The Outer Reef 610 delivers exactly what you would expect from this brand - exceptional quality, comfort, and thoughtful design. It may be one of the smaller models in the Classic Series, but there is no compromise on materials or craftsmanship. It feels like a much larger yacht, with the same attention to detail found on its bigger siblings.
