On Deck

Nick offered a quick tour of the yacht, starting from the bathing platform. He highlighted the access to the crew areas from the hi-lo platform. The yacht features a cockpit area with a big overhang for shade and wide decks designed for long-distance cruising.

The decks feature deep bulwarks and pop-up lights on the bow area. The flybridge was another highlight, with an ice maker, storage space, barbecue area, and a large seating area. The hardtop had a large sliding section to let in sunshine if desired. The helm was positioned quite far forward on the flybridge, providing a decent view.

Interior

The saloon area has an aft galley, a large seating area, and decent-sized windows. The side access door here is a practical feature. The helm was up ahead, with a lift-up section allowing for a standing or sitting position. The lower deck consisted of the VIP cabin, day heads, and the master cabin, all with ample storage.

Nick was particularly impressed with the light wood in the yacht's interior, which made it feel more spacious. There are wonderful small details like the bookshelf in the third cabin and the dressing area in the master cabin.

Performance

The Sirena 58 is a semi-displacement boat, with a round bilge rather than the traditional planing configuration.

The incredible engineering space houses two Caterpillar engines, with around 700 horsepower each, providing a speed of mid to high 20s when flat out. But the Sirena 58 is more suited to cruising around 16 knots due to its semi-displacement configuration.

Crew Accommodation

The crew cabin is a small but functional space with a separate toilet compartment. This area would be suitable for short-term crew, especially for longer passages.

In Summary

Overall, Nick was impressed with the Sirena 58, finding it a little different from the norm but equally as impressive as the larger Sirena 88.
