A chunky modern trawler yacht with SUV styling, the Sirena 58 is a long-range all-rounder with a Category A hull that’s designed to cope with heavy weather and can cruise efficiently at displacement speed but can also get up on the plane when you open the throttle.

As with all Sirenas, there’s a lot of living space aboard and it’s been thoughtfully designed. Stand-out features include sharp modern styling, a sun lounge on the foredeck, a spacious flybridge, and a fully glazed salon.

About

Interior

A clean and sober contemporary design scheme by Tommaso Spadolini makes the most of the ample living space on board. Balance and harmony were in the design brief and the resulting design features a lot of hardwood veneer throughout the yacht. The fully glazed main deck is an open-plan space with a generously sized salon amidships, a double helm console up front and a well-equipped galley astern.

Exterior

A tall, beamy yacht with an assertive presence on the water, the 58 has a plumb bow like a battleship with a massive steel bow roller projecting forward like a battering ram. The topsides are high to allow plenty of interior volume, and the coachroof has a distinctive ‘eyebrow’ overhang all the way round to keep the salon windows in shade. Up top, there’s a spacious flybridge which can be shaded or enclosed as a skylounge, and a tall, chunky mast for mounting Satcom receivers.

Performance

The standard engine installation is a couple of 650hp Volvo D11s with a V-drive transmission and a single propeller, giving around 25 knots at full throttle. An upgrade is offered to twin 900hp D13s, taking the yacht’s top speed up to 28 knots. In economy mode, cruising at 10 knots, a range of 850 miles is possible with the standard fuel tank.

From The Manufacturer

Like her predecessor, Sirena 58 benefits from the development of its efficient hull underbody, and having the best performance at a wide range of Froude numbers, from displacement mode up to planning condition. She is able to explore all corners of the world, cruising in comfort and safety with low fuel consumption.

The construction is done using resin infusion for best fiber to resin content. The scant links and hull reinforcements have been planned to comply with ISO 12215 requirements.

Aesthetically she shows a very strong purposeful character of an expedition yacht, having full headroom throughout, large uncluttered deck areas, large glass window surfaces and a fly bridge that is larger than the norm.

The volume inside is quite ample for a yacht of her size. The joinery work built of high quality woods and fabrics, offers variety of options regarding its interior layout to maximize the joy of life at the sea according to every individual’s needs.
